ever tried customer service dont huge waste of time. they will complete ignore ur issue with a general AI generated response that has nothing to do with ur issue. best to just playing another game.
If you leave can I have your teeth? I have dredger friends in Revendreth that are always asking.
Okay bye
- What was the problem?
- First responses to tickets are usually templates to make sure you’ve tried the usual suspects as triage so they can solve more pertinent issues with people who can’t even play the game.
- Did you try the Customer Support forum?
- Did you ask here?
- Did you search for support articles on your issue?
technically water is not actually wet.
Looks like she went for skipp to step 6: Post a thread on the GD forums to get attention. Will not solve a thing, and it will be full of contradictions… Lets settle for feelin good about it.
@Bread. Tis moist?
Deja vu
Posts like this seem to be from people that have never had to deal with any sort of customer service before.
Cya then.

Ever tried Customer Service? Don’t, it’s a huge waste of time.
100% cant be the case. If they tickets were AI generated responses than they would be answered in minutes not days.
More than likely they are all using templates which they are told they all have to use. This leaves you with a more canned sounding response. On top of that they have probably stripped GMs of 95% of their power they had before. Sadly this means GMs dont have the actual power to fix issues anymore. Which is pretty much the story with EVERY CS with any Corporation now days.
We of course HATE this as customers but people in a boardroom always think its a good idea.
I’ve had to utilize CS and so far they are addressing my issue.
We can circle back in a week to see if my issue is fully resolved.
Even I have to admit, it seems that in the past several years, Blizzard’s customer service is severely lacking.
It’s almost as if they’ll do anything to avoid actually talking to the customer about any issues that have arisen. It is a huge hassle to open up a ticket about anything these days. They’ll send you to WoWhead or they’ll provide troubleshooting in their menus, etc.
Even if you are able to open up a ticket and request GM assistance, it could be days before you talk to someone, but most of the time it’s a scripted reply that’s automated that just tells you to try what the troubleshooting on the menu said. I don’t even think there’s a option to call them anymore or anything like that.
“Back off peasant, we just want your money! Don’t talk to me unless it’s an emergency!” vibes.
Actual AI doesn’t exist yet. Quit being silly. Same C programming that it has always been for Blizzard. AI that it is called in other places is Python and Java usually. So not AI. Not as much C++ as they like to claim.
idk what they pay them for
Thinmintz I 100% agree with you customer service just post generic replies and close your ticket once you get frustrated. lol
There actually are legitimate problems with how CS operates here…
-
if a customer explains in their report all the steps they have already taken to address the issue based on forum, FAQ, and support articles, DO NOT reply with a copy paste generic response telling them to try the exact things they have already tried. It just shows that not a single human being has even bothered to read their ticket.
-
CS here has a cyclical practice of telling customers to try the forums and then telling them on the forums to try submitting a ticket. This is not helpful at all.
-
CS frequently claims that they will “elevate the issue” when a customer reports on a known issue, when in reality all they have done is added another tally to the issue tracker saying “another customer reported it”. That is not elevating the issue. Be honest and tell us its a known issue that is currently either a low priority or may never actually be addressed.
-
CS has a habit if closing customers tickets without resolving anything. STOP! Only the customer should be allowed to close the ticket.
The templates are annoying, I agree. It usually takes a second ticket to get a response. Sometimes, they’re necessary, but for those of us who do check out all the info first, yep. Have to reopen that ticket.
I think it depends on the issue and how they’ve explained the problem.
I’ve honestly never heard this one. Not saying it doesn’t happen, just haven’t heard of it.
But a bug report is a bug report. Not much more anyone can do on that. Weird wording to use, though.
I just re-open it if my issue isn’t solved. I have a feeling there’s a reason they close them for some sort of internal system thing.
I couldn’t imagine dealing with mad WoW players all day
You couldn’t pay me enough.
I bet it’s a miserable experience.
Lol I could only imagine WoW players taking extreme offense to every little word you say.
And now you know why they created the social contract and murdered trade chat…
oh how i miss pre 2016 internet
