Blizzard CN is now offline!

And here I thought they would find an 11th hour reprieve or savior to carry the license or at least offer hope in the short term. I cannot imagine how it would feel to lose my account. Seems from the release, not just warcraft was affected, but all other Blizzard games save Diablo Immortal.

Predictions on if CN servers will ever be ressed?

Possibly but time will tell.

It sucks but it is what it is.

It’s too hard to out guess the Chinese. I’d say doubtful, but … who knows? But, yeah, I’d really, really hate to lose even my 10 years of time. The people knew it was coming though and probably have adapted, for the most part.

They don’t need reprieve. They’re releasing their own WoW.

What they went through is extremely sad

This is how WoW will be like eventually in the future

Blizzard Canada? Oh no!

It is sad, but they made the most of what they could.

I hope that one day their account info can be put back into servers so they can walk the fields of Azeroth once again.

Depressing though I’m sure somebody else will pick up the licensing in time.

The times I’ve quit WoW I expected never to return (but here I am). It is one thing for me to walk away from the account and never return. It’s another knowing I never can return. I feel really bad for those folks.

Soon every server will be getting spammed with mandarin.

All well.

Less money for Blizzard.

Tragic.

I really feel for the Chinese fanbase. Losing something you love out of your control would suck no matter what it is.

I honestly feel bad for the players… I would be sad to lose my druid… been playing him for 18 years and he feels like home…

I hope this is eye opening to them, how little Blizzard is actually valued over there.

Might inspire them to focus more on the home turf. Corps trying to cash in on China are dime-a-dozen.
