Blizzard also didn’t release enough servers initially and had to continue adding more. Hopefully you can see how this was an initial problem that had a lot of cause and effect to this point. The main point here is we need upgraded servers to keep WoW classic healthy and simply playable. P2 is nearly here, but everyone should know what will be going down with AQ.

Classic has batching.
As long as there is batching and the server tick rate so low, large group lag will happen. There literally isn’t anything they can do with how they are already artificially screwing up the servers.
Also, people need to see that gameplay was better without batching. People keep saying no changes, but lights hope was really good!

Yes, it did. It had actual batching because it was running the 1.12 client
It was absolutely a possibility for 2 mages to sheep eachother or the like on LH.
Regardless, this level of delay is on a completely different planet from batching

So count. That was a max of two raids in the throne room and 2 responding, with possibly some horde in UC as well.
So maybe 4 raids, plus maybe 100 or so extra horde.

They also said they would keep adding servers, if there was a demand, wich they did… and to be honest they were in my opinion fast about it as well…

Okay even if it was 2000 players, that’s hardly, what? like 10% of the server? So what? that should be no problem at all to handle

Blizz stop using Walmart Servers
Again, even the low pop servers would have this problem. A low pop server today is still around the same as a high pop server in Vanilla. None of the servers can handle large scale PvP.

Because it’s their servers. The post shows a Pserver w/ hundreds of people in an area and no lag (not even comparable to what we experience). Even with people AFK in Org its horrible to try to do anything.
And blizzard put up a big fat blue post, warning us about full servers and layers going away ?
You miss the point.
None of the servers can handle large scale PvP.
Even the lowest populated servers have issues. Do you see the problem now? There is no safe server to try larger scaled PvP.
when they had a pvp event tarren mill-southshore battle at BB, people pvped just fine, and BB is still fairly populated… i see stormwind and ironforge with alot of people, runs just fine, and im playing from europe
Try it w/ 3 full raids on either side. I can assume your server has more then 6 total guilds that could fill this too. Atleast puggable if not.
We’re talking Large Scale. Atleast 100+ on either side.
