You say the old horde is the same thing as the new horde despite entirely different ethos and leaders
Well then why would we consider mechagnomes to be any different than that of King Mechagon’s mechagnome society, who was out to destroy all non robotic life?
(Statement): Correct. The Horde still calls itself the Horde, still runs by the same government, and employed many leaders and figures from the previous Horde, such as Saurfang, Grom, etc… Yet, people insist it is a new Horde, a different Horde, despite using all the same names.
(Commentary): You shouldn’t. Why would you? Of course it’s the same society! We’re still seeking on ways to undo the Curse of Flesh. Researching new mechanization is a constant goal of the Mechagnomes!
(Confusion): I completely and utterly fail to understand your point here.
Nope. The Elves left on their own. From the Warcraft 3 manual: “To make matters worse, the brusque high elves of Silvermoon rescinded their allegiance to the Alliance, stating that the humans’ poor leadership led to the burning of their forests during the Second War. Though Terenas tactfully reminded the elves that nothing of Quel’Thalas would have remained if not for the hundreds of valiant humans who’d given their lives to defend it, the elves stubbornly decided to go their own way”
If you’re talking about Garithos, he was from Lordaeron, the same people you’re somehow buddy-buddy with (the Forsaken) and the only other nation that had anything to do with Kael’thas and Garithos was Dalaran. And you guys were begging to be let back in.
But the Wildhammer Dwarves are the main ones. They were one of the closest allies to Silvermoon in the past. But now, you Blood Elves take orders from FOREST TROLLS to attack them. Forest Trolls who were part of the original Horde. The same Horde that burnt your forests and killed your people.
Ironic, since the people who tried to kill all their friends and family are HORDE.
To be fair, most of the humans from the Alliance that did that didn’t exactly met a happy end. Most if not all are dead now, including Garithos. The humans in the Alliance now (mostly from Stormwind) didn’t try to kill any High Elves. The Blood Elves on the other hand, allying with Orcs that tried to kill them in the Second War, Trolls who have been their enemies for years (not the Darkspear though), and the Forsaken, the same group that helped wipe out the Blood Elves in the first place. All that fel exposure made the Blood Elves bonkers
The Elves left because the one left in charge of them tried to send them on errands to get them killed off. They had to leave to find people that would actually help them.
I did mention of Lordaeron. But yes, the Forsaken are also from there. And were more helpful. Which doesn’t make it an excuse for the Alliance to not be helpful. Are you saying that people of Lordaeron are just basically jerks that are destined to not be helpful?
Okay, you’re right about the Kirin Tor. But good on you for recognizing that. How strange that the Blood Elves were virtually on their hands and knees begging to be let into the Kirin Tor again.
As for the Alliance military, you must be joking, right? Is this another Garithos thing?
(Sarcasm): I wasn’t aware that Arthas single-handedly stormed Quel’Thalas and wiped out 90% of the population without any help whatsoever. Certainly he never had an army of the undead that would later become the Forsaken. It’s not as if survivors of Quel’Thalas from the Third War would NEVER have a chance to come face to face with the monsters that literally destroyed their kingdom and cannibalized their loved ones.
(Commentary): But this is one of the great hypocrisies of the Horde. The Horde blames the Alliance for the Orc Internment Camps, but the Forsaken were the Humans who literally were running those camps! The Horde blames the Alliance for the woes of the Blood Elves, but the Forsaken were literally the ones to bring down Quel’Thalas while bound to the Lich King. Let’s not even get started on the fact the Alliance canonically secured and reignited the Sunwell for the Blood Elves either.
Doesn’t change that at the time they were basically being controlled. Alliance calls us out on our flaws too. So they likely wouldn’t want us back there either. We are better with the band of misfits.
(Commentary): Amusingly, the Alliance has been keeping a seat open for Quel’Thalas this entire time. It’s brought up during the Nightborne and Void Elf recruitment scenarios.
