Blizzard are devaluing players' M+ progress with the introduction of Dinars

I’m absolutely certain that people sitting at around 2800–3000 rating right now will just buy a Mythic raid carry for a couple million gold and easily get gear that will let them zerg through +15–16 keys, while we’re currently sweating through these dungeons.

We’ll quickly fall from the top 1% down to the top 5%.

I suggest introducing Dinars like in Dragonflight Season 4, so that this gear would be accessible to everyone.

The system Blizzard is proposing right now is a complete disrespect to players who focus exclusively on M+.

Personally, I don’t have a spare couple million gold to spend on a Mythic raid carry.

You heard it in the blue post. They don’t think m+ is “high end” despite being the vastly preferred endgame pillar compared to the endangered species-level population of mythic raiders

A mythic carry is gold cap or more. How many people do you know that not only have more than gold cap, but are willing to blow it on 3 pieces of gear that are only a couple % better than what they can already get? The number is so few as to not really affect anything.

Getting 3 pieces of gear that are 2% better will not magically let you zerg a 16 ifyou were previously doing 12s lol.

They should really do iron curtain gearing, raiders seem to be for it for some reason and M+ players already do keys past 11 without rewards

Imagine that house of cards collapsing on itself that’s called RWF. If you don’t keep pretending that mythic raiding is the highest difficulty then what will happen to all those poor participant’s ego and time committed? Their whole livelihood is poured into it.

It is well known that blizzard only care about their mythic raid player, 1% of the player population. The rest of us, we r just npc in wow to them. Blizzard simply don’t give a damn about us.

What happened? Did they released dinars already? I’ve been playing SoD.

And? No one cares about the small % of M+ players pushing 15 and higher any more than they care about the Mythic raiders.

If Blizz wanted to give us all free Mythic raid trinkets would I take it? Sure why not. However that isn’t what cartel chips are for and the 99% of the player base that doesn’t push high keys or mythic raid will get plenty of use out of them as they are.

Giving mythic raiders deterministic bis loot and blocking it from everyone else is a terrible design decision. If it’s not available to everyone they shouldn’t do it at all. Maybe they should stop doing .5 patches altogether. They only seem to make players angry.

This is how it should always be done. Trying to do this at any other point in time was stupid on their part.

I think with those changes Blizzard just wants to make 3000 rating achievement obtainable by mid skilled players with better gear giving them extra crutch. Downside is going to be that it will be harder for non-mythic raider to compete in M+ on high-end of keys. Easy solution would be to just copy DF’s season 4 bullion system. No losers, everybody wins.

The hell are you talking about? “Heroic raiders” can buy their bis loot as well. And they don’t even have to have cleared heroic to do it.

You’re right, there shouldn’t be a dinar system at all. Good thing this is BLP for raiders who can’t farm the same boss over and over without a lockout to get the drop they want.

Now m+ers can run LFR for heroic versions of the best raid trinkets and get a version that is only 13ilvl less than the one that people who can’t endlessly farm their content. That m+ gets mythic track lottery to keep them from having conniptions is a compromise by Blizzard already, because you guys are a fickle bunch to please.

If you think your performance is determined by 13ilvl difference in 3 pieces of gear, then I don’t know what to tell you. Stop placing such an emphasis on your ilvl and worry about your skill.

Imagine if next Tuesday, the impossible would happen and things like mug moxie jug, house of card or the bombsuit would all be hit with ~30% nerfs outside of raid instances.

It would quickly sort out all the issues m+ players have with the entire dinar system.

No heroic track items are bis.

Delves and housing are specifically for the mythic raid player.

So go earn the mythic versions.

Unbelievably good bait here. Best I’ve seen in a minute.

You can put the best gear in the hands of the worst players and it won’t matter in the context you’re describing. Sure they’ll face roll the lower keys but anyone who was getting 1 shot due to lack of situational awareness in a 12 before isn’t suddenly going to stop doing that and ascend to 15-16s.
