Way to cherry pick your quotes. Did you somehow miss the part where I was replying to a poster who said they had no interest in anything besides M+, so I was assuaging his concerns by telling him that anima will offer him absolutely nothing?
And if cosmetics are your main thing, then you do you. The anima grind is now your progression path, while the gear grind is ours. Now you have something that actually takes a fair bit of grinding and effort to match the terrible SLs loot drop chance for everyone else.
Still doesn’t change anything either. The context of my earlier post was specifically to him. How I or he feels about anima and cosmetics, or if we choose to completely ignore that bit of content, has absolutely zero bearing on how you play the game.
I really hope they add a 9.0.5 patch with increased Anima gains and/or more options. I’m getting Souls faster than I can use them now and I pretty much jut want this patch to be over at this point.
Not really, I had 25 100’s with level 3 garrisons, just took gathering chests and get the war resources and gold to upgrade.
But it’s not just the mounts and other goodies that people like to collect, before we were gated to upgrade our halls, like anima conduit, travel system, etc, because of how many redeemed souls we got a week, now they boosted that to 10 now we are struggling to get anima and if your heavy in to the command table you have to stop or not have enough anima to do other things, shouldn’t be that way.
Anima is almost entirely for vanity covenant stuff, and not required after reaching the initial weekly 1k, which itself can be gotten by doing the world boss, 2
Bgs, and whatever the weekly event is.
As long as it’s not grind required, it shouldn’t matter if you don’t get tons of it, which you still get a good amount anyway.
Cosmetics and mounts are possible end game rewards. They aren’t necessarily the end-game content itself, which is what raiders, M+ players and pvpers enjoy. It IS a game, after all.
