Any fix for fly hacking would negatively effect the players. Just report them when you see them.

People doing it is not the same as Blizzard allowing it. People will always find ways around hack detection. This is the stated reason why Blizzard doesn’t ban hackers and botters frequently, as it allows them to implement counter-measures to it.

This is old news. Like… Classic TBC Slave Pens and Botanica news. Fly hacking was used to farm chests and herbs from underground and it’s been a thing since.

Blizzard won’t bother.

From what I understand about fly hacking, you’re forcing your game to lag while also changing your character’s position. If Blizzard were to adjust it so that you couldn’t fly hack, it would make the game unplayable when you have high latency, which for many players is doing world events and larger raids.

I suspect this is a bot as I’ve seen bots run up the side of a hill that I can’t run up… Tell tell sign of a bot is when it takes the path of least resistance. This means running up hills that a “Normal” player can achieve.

They are fighting bots don’t worrry. Just do your part in reporting them.
