another thing FF14 does better than WoW any day of the week, month, year, decade, century ect,-
it allows mods. In FF14 there’s no such thing as ‘Ugh why isnt this a customization option’. if it doesn’t exist, MOD IT. Don’t like Hrothgar having human feet and wish they had pawfeet instead? the mod exist.
In WoW terms this can be stuff like… Worgen tails, Undead Elf? maybe some added flair like blood fury racial on orcs making their eyes glow red? i can go on forever.
blizz, open the door for model editing with official mod tools, give people the tools to modify the ingame models. let the community do the work for you and more in terms of player character. this is after all, a PC game.
It technically doesn’t. The difference is Final Fantasy is a Japanese game and Blizzard is American. It’s prohibited to have anti-cheat in Japanese product by default of Japanese law.
If you’d knew what you were talking about, you’d also knew Final Fantasy devs are strongly against it and mentions of it very often and begs players to exclude XIV watermarks / references because this modding gives them issues at operating in some countries.
There’s way to do it in WoW but a massive ban wave occurred because of it as well. And I will not mention about it or how to do so as per rules.
