I am picking up a series of Blizzard Account Bound purple items from Archeology.
I’ve never run into gear that was “account bound”
It’s too weak for me to ever really use.
Not unique enough to hang onto in my inventory in case I ever have an alt I want to use it on.
Can’t sell it.
Destroy it?
bank it and move on
I shove account-bound items into void storage just to keep them as mementos.
But no they’re not that useful to keep.
Account bound items can sent to any character you have, cross-server and cross-faction. Or just destroy them.
I have an alt designated as my account bound gear storage toon, and their void storage is primarily dedicated to those items.
Sometimes when leveling an alt some items can be useful for a bit, if I remember to bother and look. A few have a some transmog value, like that big huge ginormous two-handed sword from troll archaeology.

If they’re anything like the Garrison sets, someone has to have them in their possession to retain access to the appearance. Bank it or Void Storage.
they are unique… you can only obtain the items one time per character.
if you’ve only got one character and have space issues, it’s time to create a bank alt for storage purposes.
which sets are those?
the only account bound appearances i know of, come from the bunker/war mill… and you don’t need to keep the item to keep the appearance, they’re cosmetics which are added to your wardrobe.
Best thing to do. As to the OP’s question … there are a lot of account bound items like that. Remember, if you decide to level up an alt … you can mail them the items. Kind of wish they moved all those Account Bound gear items into a Collection like Heirlooms. Save a bit of bag space that way.
i would wait until SL revamp is done before deleting, maybe some of those purple will be better than looms for alts.
I have a bunch with weird levels on them that are blue from MOP. I never used them even on alts.
i use these to send to other realms and vendor them for “starter gold” when creating characters on a new realm.
Box them as artifacts ,you can vendor it and it doesn’t matter if you destroy it .It will be a good transmog. or send it to one of your toons to use.
