Sarcasm, hyperbole and satire are not mutually exclusive.

Would be nice right? if they were doing that?

One invalidates your statement tho. :dart:

I’m not the weirdo who tries to make everyone I play with a BFF /shrug

Youre the weirdo who cant have a discussion without trolling hyperbolizing straw man .

Unironically, youre also the weirdo who needs blizzard to be a kindegarten teacher forcing kids into a line to play with you so you get your fair turn

The funny thing is, this isnt hyperbole, this is actually 100% what you advocate for, and is a reasonable metaphor.

None of what you said answered the question. You are deflecting because you actually don’t have the answer. I think I am confusing you so let ME break it down simply for YOU:

How do you form social links with people who never socialize? Spoiler warning:

You don’t.

So what if the tank or the healer or the dps is good? You can try talking to them until you’re blue in the face. If they never talk to you, you never form bonds. Add them to your friends list all you want. If they’re not going to socialize with you in the dungeon, odds are they’re going to ignore that whisper you sent their way about playing together again.

Here’s the discussion an optional tool which would not prevent you from forming groups just like you do now would be a huge QoL improvement for a lot of people.

You guys are now life long friends! Congratulations!

I literally just answered your question in 2 different ways. You pug, and pursue social interactions with the people you enjoy playing with resulting in you pugging less.

This isnt a single player game. And it doesnt need to be.

Thats their loss, assuming they never talk to anyone. THeyve probably chosen tank or healer in order to make up for that handicap in some small way. the most likely scenario, is they just arent that interested in you personally, and so maybe a little introspection is in order

we dont need QOL improvements.

Ah good so you should just go back to EQ since you hate QoL.

wont have to! blizzard has decided classic should provide people like me a place where we can retain that “different experience” as Ion called it.

Thanks for your concern tho!

let me remind you as ive previously stated here, im more than willing to compromise personally!

Its not up to me, and blizzard seems like they are far less into compromising than i personally am!

So a version of RDF that doesn’t actually work.

For all your talk about strawmen, you’re doing it far more than any of us. In fact, you’re the only one doing it.

We get it. You don’t like the idea of the RDF. But instead of just stating that simply and moving on you’re picking fights with everybody and trying to sound better than everyone that doesn’t share your own opinion on something.

in all my talk about strawmen ive quoted each one of you strawmanning and hyperbolizing. Show me where ive misconstrued your argument.

Why arent you “just moving on” from the forums, if you dont like the game? Im not asking you this because i want you to, its a rhetorical question. When you bring up a weak suace non-compromise that misses the point of the tedium the system inflicts, i have every right to chill here and explain very Slowly why its not good enough and what the problems are. Are you tired of me roasting you?

By adding paid boosts, store mounts, and retail raid buff mechanics. Wrath Reforged!

oh hey look a straw man! if you go to 12:14 in the announcement video Ion is talking directly about the inclusion of RDF, this things (while added which i dont agree with) are tangential at best, and not relevant to what i was saying! I like the ilvl nerfs, the difficulty buffs, Dual specc being P1 and rdf being thrown out!

I think its halarious, he legit JUST SAID “none of us are straw manning” and you rush in like “hold my beer”
