I’m going to say by pserver popularity over the last 10-12 years + overall how the population in classic has gone… No one is going to play Cata Classic, Wrath hardly has a healthy player base compared to classic. Cata will fracture the base even more, as wrath/old world enjoyers will seek alternatives or go back to classic/HC/SoM2. Will people play Cata classic? I’m sure some will, there is a niche base that liked it, but I can’t see it topping Wrath or Classic at it’s peak in player count. I assume the amount of “full” servers will be fewer in comparison. I know if there isn’t wrath era servers around, I am basically done with blizz for good. I am sure most who returned for their favorite ACTUAL classic experience will be done as well.
