I have nothing against twinking. I think its actually pretty cool. I just do not like the format that is given to them. Obviously there are others that object but its par for the course. Thank you for your insight sir. It is appreciated.

Yes, it was. I don’t recall ever seeing anyone mention just how high the increase was, just that there was one.

It was mostly mentioned to bring up specific procs being nerfed.

I’m not certain, one game was just a party of 3 and then we did a second game as a full group - that may have been the full group given that 3 others are definitely twinks as well. Grats on the record :stuck_out_tongue: I think I set some myself that game.

Part of the reason I was so salty previously was solo-queueing into the 69 premades with feral-affinity master shapeshifter resto druids (won’t name names) literally killing me in 1-3 seconds at times. As I said above though, eventually came to realize it was a combo of premades & FotM builds (the resto druid in question is very skilled too btw) that was making my queues hell, not twinks. Sorry for previous salt and gg, i’ll see you around

edit – also to add, the BG matchmaker was working as intended for the hour or so I was on, I was only in premade vs premade games (though sometimes unevenly partied) so that’s nice

Really going to want a link on that please. Let us see this screenshot. I’ve played in 79’swith twinks a bit and the highest damage I see is usually around 400k.

I’d be impressed to see 900k. 32 million though? I really doubt you messed up a comma there. Exactly how old is this screen shot? That’s more damage than a lot of people do at level 120 in battlegrounds.

I get people get tilted over twinks, I am/was of them, and while I understand the 111-119 bracket is the biggest offender, it’s the easiest/cheapest bracket to twink in by far with the only factor really working against you is time.

Look its simple separating is why we are here.

Vanilla no xp or rewards. BEST TWINING EVER, COMMUNITY AND PLAYERS, in my heart forever!

BC: Edit: Queues for twinks never stopped, but we were harassed about twinks “dying” all the time, although it did nothing.

Wotlk: Separated bgs and boas released, more xp added, but we are still here!!!

Cata: SEPARATION EVEN MORE, 10 to 14, 14 to 19, 20 to 24 MERGED BATTLE GROUPS, so on BOA thing persisted, we were MORE than outraged
still some made 10 to 14 GUILDS that were doing amazing (Worst case of leaving games and holding flags ever to happen!)

MOP: Still Separated but twinks continued as we made enchant boas passed them off got a few bis greens/enchanted a g2g for a while longer (some just afk at end of game and not cap, uh WAY MORE TOXIC) THE RELEASE OF MERGE BATTLEGROUPs to help twink queues

Wod: Most world pvp, Still separated, twinks still persisted, through ALL the heartache
changed back to 10 to 19, 20 to 29 and so on REMERGING these groups was the response. Many guilds fell apart due to this change, and really not a single person cared except who thought this change was to stay. WORSE RESPONSE TO THE ISSUE EVER. Twinks more powerful than ever
just no queues.

To save the non-heirloom players (I.e me, and everyone who played pre-wod who could get every piece or even 2-3 pieces + weapon) bring in the twinks to keep the heirloomed levelers in check? But then they also have to fight the twinks who will 0.5 shot them as opposed to the levelers who will 3 shot them.

The timeline above is slightly off. Cata came before MOP for example. Also, XP wasn’t added to BGs until patch 3.2, which was WotLK. Queues never stopped in BC.
