Cause sylvanas has to be shown to be super powerful, because she’s the writers favorite. She’s got massive plot armor, and she’s a full on mary sue now.

Sylvanas fought the OG Lich King in ICC and survived.
Bolvar is significantly weaker, and Sylvanas has only gotten stronger.

You mean she tried to 1v1 him, failed miserably, barely remotely touched him, and had to be helped to run like a coward otherwise she’d be dead?

What has Bolvar ever done as Lich King? Sat on his throne? Nada. He’s grown weak. Sylvanas schooled him and broke his hat in two. Probably stepped on his sneakers as well.

Bolvar was never powerful, he was a half dead man who wore the crown because he didnt want anyone else to have that burden.
He wasnt even 1/10th as powerful as Arthas, who even the burning legion feared. Idk why people thought he was going to be a mary sue and save the day

Look on the bright side. Bolvar can be that awesome knight again unburdened by the helm of domination. He can only get stronger now. He was an awesome knight and commander when he was human and now with Dragon Fire inside him, he will be more than what he was before. He will surely have a veeery big role in the shadowland xpac. Cannot wait to see his new model in shadowlands when he wear a new armor and weapons.
He was kind of fighting against the LK helm all this time and probably even while fighting Sylvanas. THat is why he commented “that helm will be your prison” when he thought Sylvanas would wear it

It’s just annoying to see her do all these things she couldn’t before. Like Oh yeah now my arrows also have chains, oh yeah I can also smoky Lost Demon my way out of anything, oh yeah I can fly now, Oh yeah I can also fly into the sun and absorb its powers.
She’s like that kid on the playground who has a counter to everything you do when playing make believe and no one likes that kid.

Exactly. She’s the villain now. We are meant to want to kill her. To damn many of the villains in this game end up as either really cool characters that people really don’t want to kill or they are nobodies no one cares about. It’s refreshing to have one that is so annoying and rage inducing that when we finally get to kill her it will be deeply satisfying.

Come on people. Sylvanas is so clearly in the grips of something else. This has been obvious for a long time. She didn’t whip the new Lich King. Something bigger and badder did.
