The current playstyle of prot warrior is far too enjoyable. Blizzard cannot allow the fun to continue and must nerf the joy out of the spec. It’s not fair for protection warriors to be so fast paced and have so many procs when specs like prot paladins have been suffering all season in the trash bin.
I see what you did there…!
Sometimes I wonder about that for slayer fury warrior. Execute, one of the core abilities of the hero talent… is barely used outside of reducing Bladestorms cd because it hits like a soft foam sword. And yet still no buffs to the fury version of it.
Imagine if Thunder Clap or its enhanced version did barely any damage when it comes to Mountain Thane.
Honestly this is just a big part of how they’ve failed at designing fury correctly over the expansions.
They’ve overloaded so much of the kit into Raging Blow, practically half our talent tree is dedicated to augmenting it with additional damage/resets when it’s used and when other attacks are used which is silly in and of itself. They also haven’t adjusted the damage profile to fit a much better damage per cast ratio between attacks which in essence should be Rampage > Execute > Bloodthirst > Raging Blow, until they get in there and actually rework to this mindset we’re going to have a spec with broken priorities that don’t make sense.
