Now that you’re removing the option to move guilds cross server and cross faction, this question needs answered:
the idea of “cross server” isn’t going to be a thing in TWW. your guilds will be server-agnostic.
Servers are not going away.
They are not. We will simply be able to invite people from other realms. And if I want to be on MG, I don’t want to have to swap back and forth to another server just to do guild lead stuff.
And it’s a pain to invite cross faction right now. Nor can we give guild lead to the opposite faction right now.
sorry, i should have been more specific. for purposes of guilds, cross server won’t be important.
But I still think it is an important question that Sendryn asked. What are the rules for a guild whose leader (owner) is on a different server from the guild?
Despite membership being server agnostic, I could see ownership potentially causing some issues.
ahhh whaaat? ya being able to recruit from other server, ya i can see how this wont be important…
Despite membership being server agnostic, I could see ownership potentially causing some issues.
Exactly. And guild leaders shouldn’t be chained to their faction or server since we’re opening this up to both factions and all servers, while removing services.
Few guildies and I tried testing on beta and Sendryn, as you expected, we were unable to test it.
Does it matter? TWW is being rushed…look at the released dates of prepatch and the expansion LMAO.
as you expected, we were unable to test it.
Sadface. But thanks for trying!
Does it matter?
I mean… it does to me and some others I know. To each their own, but if I decide to main our guild as an RP guild on MG, I’d like to not have to restart a new guild or manage it from a different server. Or a different faction if we went opposite faction.
