Blizzard for the love of God prevent your employees from talking abt Blizz on social media… I mean in my company our employee contract specifically states that we may not post about the company on social media unless vetted or we face termination . This is standard stuff .
Are your lawyers too busy playing CoD to not even look at such basic stuff ?

Was it that bad?
I’d just assumed anything posted would be vetted by their PR or HR or what ever.
no, their lawyers are too busy approving more PR disasters like that statement they put out over the weekend. that’s a much better use of their time

They should just go back to blueposting when appropriate. Devs taking to twitter really isn’t helping anything.

Have you been following their responses on Twitter ??
You can hardly believe this is a multi billion dollar company . Who is in charge here ?

No I never go on twitter or reddit, some day I’ll write a book called “how I didn’t go insane, two easy steps”

A non-disclosure lawsuit with Blizzard suing their own victims of sexual harassment. It would be the final nail in their coffins.

It’s not the victims of abuse on Twitter gabbing away like fools … like the Alex guy.
Again this is standard stuff ,most large companies don’t allow you to post about them on social media without it being vetted.

I seriously can’t believe that statement made it past the lawyers… Mine would have quit if I had released something like that.

I don’t actually know what my employer’s policy is, but I’ve always felt that (with a few exceptions) that kind of thing is unprofessional.
Whistle-blowing is a different thing entirely but you have to be willing to fade the heat.

Yeah, I’d think an NDA would be pretty standard while an investigation is going on. Though I did hear that the people doing the investigation were disingenuous about what they were investigating, if that’s true or not.

It’s pretty bad, yeah. You have some people tossing around how other people are the problem, you have some people going around and contradicting one another, so on and so forth.
Honestly, the entire “defense” from Blizzard seems very confused. It’s clear they’re not talking with one another throughout this situation.

I don’t even put on social media where I work. They need to hold a press conference or something more high effort. Even if it’s…we will let y’all know when we know. The game is still operational, thank you for supporting us, blah blah
Get JAB out there with a proof read letter. Take questions from the public.
Not these lackadaisical posts on social media.

Yeah there is one of the dev who stated that there is almost zero work being done on WoW atm and yet we are still paying a subscription.

All I can honestly tell you. Is that the Twitlongers or whatever the heck you call them that the PREVIOUS EMPLOYEES from blizzard are writing… the #metoo people…have MAJOR Inconsistencies and are not adding up. One minute they say that their direct supervisor never took up for them and the next sentence they say ALL my Supervisors that werent SENIOR MANAGEMENT took up for me all the time and Im still friends with them to this day!
Its not making any sense…
There was one that is also complaining that her nudes were circulated around the office during her brief time working for blizzard…SHE WAS AN AMATEUR ADULT STAR in college and is plastered all over the internet anyway…
You guys need to get LEGIT CHAMPIONS because this looks like a money grab right now…

Yeah, I don’t know if they just weren’t prepared, or were scrambling and failed… or if there’s a civil war going on. It’s all really strange.
Technically we’ve already paid for July, so we really should be complaining about August’s $15 tithe.
