Yis. I agree with fb baseline, I honestly think what is holding it up is likely finding a talent to replace it
They didn’t listen to us at all. They looked at their logs and saw how poorly we performed in raid then buffed based off that. 5% probs isn’t it guys.

I’m aware that it isn’t going to cut it, but I also remember playing shaman and begging for a crumb of a buff for years and getting nothing. SoI’m happy to see acknowledgment of a problem. Hopefully this is just a hotfix/bandaid to try and help with something while better changes are in the works.

5% is a step in the right direction. Would be nice if more posts like this one came around instead of the incredible influx of grey parsers complaining about class performance we’ve seen over the last few days.

I fully agree - I think that at this point we need to also understand that making those baseline comes with adding new talents that must be added. So hopefully they’re working on it and just trying to come up with what must replace them.
We need First Blood baseline. Instead of a 5% buff, give me a reason to do something besides spam chaos strike and use glave tempest off cooldowns.
Damage buffs are so boring, and the class still plays like a sad husk of what it use to be.

First blood baseline literally does nothing for the health of the rotation but add an ability we use off cooldown. You say you want something in addition to using glaive tempest off cd? First blood is just a less strong glaive tempest on a shorter cooldown.
I really wish people would stop asking for first blood baseline and would either further the request by asking for meaningful synergies or would just ask for an entirely new ability (which would be much healthier).
Asking for first blood baseline is effectively asking for an additional button to press for no reason other than you want an additional button to press

Adding first Blood baseline adds an attack to our rotation. Without First Blood, Blade Dance becomes situational at best.
You’re not the authority on Demon Hunters, and the way you address ideas you disagree with comes across as lording over the community.
Making First Blood baseline does indeed create synergy with talents, conduits, and legendaries, that otherwise would be severely gimped.
Simply adding an entirely new ability does not necessarily make our rotation any more enjoyable or healthy.

Yes, that’s what I said. Blade dance becomes a button we press simply for the sake of pressing a button in ST situations.
Without first blood, it’s used in aoe. It’s not a situational ability; it’s an aoe ability. There’s nothing wrong with this. I’d argue it’s actually even healthier for the class to have a modicum of differentiation between ST and aoe rotations.
I don’t claim to be. I gave my opinion. First blood baseline appears to be a popular request, despite its many and obvious shortcomings.
It has synergy thanks to chaos theory, a borrowed power. There is otherwise no synergy between blade dance and any other ability in our spellbook.
Talents: no synergy.
Conduits: our bis conduit selection does not change whether we choose first blood or any other talent in that row, so no, there is no synergy.
Legendaries: yes, chaos theory created RNG synergy. Again, this is a borrowed power, and is not a valid consideration for baseline requests.

Yeah there needs to be some added synergy with it and choas strike and our overall rotation. Not just pressing it on CD.

I have been very vocal about my disappointment in Havoc DH current state. I appreciate the Buff obviously, but it definitely is not enough. I have hopes that once again raid re set will come along, they will see how classes perform and then at the end of the week a change will occur again. BUT please Blizz please adjust our current survivability its a joke.
