Gameplay for PVP is actually fun, balance is good enough, but there is no reason to play.
Our subscriptions subsidize the development effort of raid design. Blizz has decided that the ultimate raid content (world first raids) should be completed within a week or a bit more of effort…
PVP and gladiator however should for some reason take months to achieve for even the most godly players. WHY?
The game is actually so much fun but since everyone is so discouraged to play and knows there is no reason to PvP until end of season announcement, I also find it hard to queue.
Is it too much to ask for a more casual reward scheme for PvP? Just give people a reason to queue and play the game, the gameplay is actually fun!!! I think that is what is the most frustrating part of the situation we are in.
There would be reason, if the queues weren’t eternally long.
is this not the reason for playing the game?

You are 100% correct. I try and play, but its noticeable that less people are wanting to play now. I mostly play LFG 3s. I think people get excited to play for a new season and then quickly discover how deflated it is and then quit until inflation kicks end and new season announcement.
I’m not waiting more than 10 minutes for a queue.
I literally won’t play it at all if it is
While I do find time to play the game, there are windows I’d like to play and I just cant wait 30 mins in queue. I have to imagine for many people that’s a dealbreaker.
But yeah, the game is fun and that’s why I still queue.
I think it’s more that a lot of people are afraid to try because they’re afraid to fail and then they doompost about mmr cap and deflation which makes uninformed people not queue and it spirals negatively until people realize they have to Q for rewards and the ladder naturally inflates to what it could have been the entire season.
