I understand why they have it, to teach us how to play our characters before doing end game content…but why? Get rid of it and give everyone a character that can do all content off the get go. With iO ratings these days, you will quickly be found out if you know what your doing… so why time gate end game current content behind old wastes of time.
Also, I think all characters should come standard with 390 ilvl gear.
I don’t doubt you. I know alot of players dont like leveling but removing leveling completely will take away my desire to play wow. Im not joking when i say i will quit. Theres other mmos i could play that has leveling.
They eliminated specific stats …
They eliminated specific resistances …
They scrapped class story quests …
They eliminated training for weapons and abilities …
They eliminated some resemblance of consistent lore …
They eliminated the freedom to build your character …
They are eliminating the war …
They are eliminating the factions …
Now eliminate leveling ?
Ok, I am cheering up for that just because I want WoW’s demise to happen in my lifetime …
Yeah, I don’t even bother binding most of my abilities because it’s just walking up and 2 hitting mobs for a few hours. They reduced leveling times to a significant degree over the years at the request of the playerbase because most people just want to play endgame.
Even the classic community begs for exp buffs because nobody wants to level.
It probably will. When blizzard is ready to move to a new ip. Maybe 20 years from now. Wow is struggling to gain newer younger players. When my generation dies wow dies.
Leveling is part of the game because it was a standard game element at the time when this game was new. Leveling has no tutorial component. There is no npc a player can go to and ask for information on when they should use this new spell they just got instead of the one they have had all along.
It isn’t your character that can do those things. It’s the player. Either they know how to do “all content” or they don’t. If they don’t, they probably aren’t going to be able to teach themselves to master it.
Most people learn best in a graduated learning program where one concept is introduced at a time, followed by supervised practice. The game makes no provision for typical learners, which is why there are so many complaints about bad players.
