As anyone who played at the start of SL and DF can tell you, at initial release, there are never enough mailboxes and what mailboxes there are are put in bad locations. This is your reminder to take the number of mailboxes you have planned in the capital city and double it. Then go over each location and check it that it isn’t being blocked by geometry or an NPC.
Not everyone has engineering or a mailbox toy or far more likely, they’re on CD or have despawned.

They are outside every inn, auction house, near Crafting requests board.
I have no clue how you can’t find a mailbox, they are everywhere they need to be already. Only time I use my toy ones is usually in the middle of raids

Ha, go play Vanilla Horde sometime, I’m pretty sure OG Org had 2 mailboxes total in the entire city.

Just fyi, looks like there’s a typo at the location north of “Crafting”
The bank one didn’t originally exist and the BSM one got moved due to being blocked by an NPC. Not sure if the one outside the AH was there originally.
Also there is not a mailbox outside every inn. You need only look in valdrakken to see that.

Ok. There is one outside the one that matters. Might sound harsh but there is no practical reason to use any other ones
But point remains they are fine now, and so far I haven’t seen any issue in beta.

I think I still need to get that. I just use Katy Stampwhistle, but apparently the one you linked is cool because the bird takes the appearance of whatever color you’ve chosen from the grand hunt NPC for your bird hunting companion.

Back in my day you had to wait for the postorc to actually deliver the mail to that one postbox in Razorfen, a whole days march from the Valley of Trials. And he may not have even arrived yet when you got there.
