You just killed any chances you had with this comment. THIS ^ is the problem. If you ask for something but tell them you’ll still spend money even if you don’t get it, why would they give you what you want?
Sure one person saying they’ll unsub is meaningless, as is 1000, but if enough stop, they’ll listen. Speak with your wallet, not your heart.

I think blizzard are on holiday until the 4th. Jan. I haven’t seen a blue post in ages and no hotfixes in a while, even the beast warrens event is still bugged and people have been reporting that for at least two weeks now.

In truth I think the best thing you can do is flock to the most OP class. We all know FOTM classes get nerfed to the ground. Also, if no one is playing a mage then they will have to do something.

Because nobody is going to notice if i unsub lmao. Also, i dont plan on un subbing. Ill play a different class if mage isnt changing. Just need to know 
dont worry the moment where all the frosts changes to fire and no more logs will be uploaded they will buff the crap out of frost then everyone is gonna have a fun time grinding those Renowns back. i really miss Legion and BFA system to easily swap in between specs.

I agree or even like WOTLK. We need to stop all this nonsense where I need certain pieces for fire, frost or arcane to be good. Give us the good old Tier sets back. Or at least give us the chance to change the legendary powers in our slots for reasons such as this.
Sad to say, after playing Fire for a while, it’ll take a lot more than a few weeks to “fix” frost. Frost needs a rework that gives it a powerful burst window to be competitive unless it ends up absurdly overtuned for any fight where you can sit and turret via an aura buff (this also isn’t healthy for the game).
The raid tier doesn’t favor sustained DPS like the IV uptime build provides, our gains on cleave simply aren’t strong enough with the splitting ice nerf, and people are already building certain M+ routes around Combustion deleting huge pulls with Prideful and even GF as powerful as it is doesn’t give us that option. All that isn’t even considering the proc munching, proc drought, and lack of utility compared to Fire (dragon’s breath, execute, cheat death).
10% or even 15% would be nice, but it’s a bandaid, the change Frost needs would have to be on a PTR for a while.

A rework can be done later on.
All Frost needs is a good buff to its single target dps.
That could be easily done through a buff to specific spells.
It’s just lazyness on Blizz part, that’s all.

Agreed. Heck, most people in here arent even asking for Frost to take over fire’s spot at the top of the mage heap. We’re just wanting to be raised up to a point where it is not detrimental to the raid to bring us. Where we can do enough damage to make up for the % uptick for 1 more person. To NOT be 30+ % behind the leaders.

Honestly just buffing Frostbolt would do wonders; they don’t need to touch much of anything else.
Frostbolt trickles down to the rest of the spec in big ways, higher icicle damage == bigger spikes, buffs baseline output for poor brainfreeze / touch procs, scales well with Icy Veins, and improves scaling for versatility / haste / crit.
The core issue really is that Frost’s secondary stats just are not providing enough scaling into the class.
Do Icicles scale with Frostbolt damage? I thought it just scaled with Mastery.
Oh crap, your right; was changed in 8.0.1 to be driven by spell-power instead… hmm maybe buffing Frostbolt won’t be the true solution.
Yeah, actually depending on how much Frostbolt (or icicles) were buffed, it could land us in a “no ice lance” build. Not really interested in having that level of reliance on hardcasts considering how badly it works out for Demo locks.
Potentially, Frostbolt’s short cast time does put it in this awkward spot where it can’t do too much damage otherwise no one will burn the GCD to cast a potentially same or weaker ice lance when you could get a Frostbolt + Icicle hit.
Honestly as it’s being discussed more and more… I am starting to think the mastery is the real problem.
Make Shatter our Mastery and have it increase damage and crit chance against frozen targets since “crit cap” for shatter is going to be unattainable for a while and may not even be worth it with the changes to secondary scaling. Tie Icicles to spell power instead.
That’s just the idea of one person screaming into the void on the OF though.
Still doesn’t fix our damage profile, but it would almost definitely scale better with reasonable tuning. The only problem is that at some point it would also make Deep Shatter + IL global people in PvP, but I really don’t care about PvP and Blizzard doesn’t seem to either so no issues here.
