Listen to the people, please.
Why is conduit energy a thing? It benefits nobody and only punishes your top players. Your casual players don’t even notice it because they don’t change their conduits ever. Just remove it. It doesn’t help anyone and it’s unnecessarily restrictive.
Why are conduit upgrades random between all conduits? The last time I bought a conduit upgrade from Ven’ari was back in January. It upgraded a conduit for a different spec and I went “Yep never buying those again.” because I didn’t want to end up upgrading a conduit for a spec that I don’t play and have no interest in playing. Let us choose which conduit to upgrade. I, as well as many others, would gladly grind out currency as long as we have a choice of what we could upgrade. Like sockets and M+ gear. I don’t mind grinding the currency for them, because it’s not random and it actually helps me in the long run.
You guys did a good job so far on fixing PVE gearing. Increased raid drops to make it 1 piece per 5 people is great. 2 pieces for M+ even when you time it or not is great. Being able to upgrade M+ gear is great. But not being able to acquire max item level M+ gear outside of the vault when every other endgame gearing option allows for that sucks for the people that only do M+. Implement a new M+ rating achievement that allows players to upgrade to max item level of the current season (S1 - 226, S2 - 252).
Stop focusing on the problems you have with the players, and start focusing on the problems players have with your game.

Yea conduit energy and RNG sucks the ween
Hell, I’m one of those players who wouldn’t even notice if it was gone (mostly cuz there’s 0 reason to use different conduits for my spec) but still
This expansions has been full of systems and weird ways to ‘balence’ those systems they created. Soul ash cap, conduit energy, random conduit upgrades, Anima upgrades with sanctum etc.
There have been hundreds of really good suggestions to fix these things and many other issues happening atm. And even if you don’t like them Blizz can you at least have more conversations about what you’re trying to accomplish because you’re just leaving us baffled.

You don’t mean all people, or even all players. You mean “the people WHO THINK EXACTLY LIKE I THINK”. And you don’t mean “listen”, you mean “obey”. Why should Blizzard obey you? That is not “listening to the people”. If you disagree about something, that’s fine. But you’ll never get “exactly the rules that I want” from Blizzard. This isn’t a “customized for Dranight” game.
You suggestions for the game are good feedback. Pointing out the downside of Blizzard rules is very good feedback. That is exactly the feedback that Blizzard wants from players, and needs from players.
Just forget about the “listen to me, do what I say” nonsense.

Have you ever tried to have a “conversation” with thirty thousand people? It cannot be done.
And we players are not co-designers of the game. Blizzard won’t offer to make us all co-designers. We all think differently, so that just results in endless argument and debate. It doesn’t lead to solutions.
Have you ever been part of a committee of 30+ people? If you had, you would know that this is impossible.

I agree with everything you said but at the same time this expansion systems are a mess

It could have helped solve a problem that has always existed. Meta. Players don’t want homogenization. But they also don’t want to watch the MDI and see triple outlaw or see the world first raid comp have 4 mages, 4 locks and 4 boomkin, etc.
It was a good idea on paper. A way for players to customize their character and build their character for their playstyle. It would allow a class like warlock to opt in a build for M+ and be relevant compared to traditional meta specs like mage or boomkin.
But instead of doing it correctly, we got a watered down version that never delivered on what it set out to do. They had to nerf everything and add other systems on top to allow changes.
Because unfortunately some players don’t remember that this game was built on rock paper scissors or that classes and specs used to have trade offs. And that is how we end up with fire mages being S tier in every form of content because players rage if they are nerfed and can’t settle for not being the best at everything, all the time.

I’ll give you the same advice people give me when I complain about something with the game:
Play a different spec. Roll a class that doesn’t notice conduit energy.

This expansion is an absolute disaster, in my opinion. I still love WOW, but find that all I’m doing currently is transmog and gold farming old expansions. I’ve found very little in this expansion that I enjoy. My empty guild roster and friends list tells me that I’m not the only one. Guild roster only has more than a couple people in it unless it’s to log on to raid.

Blizz doesn’t read the forums

Did I ever say “have a conversation with the entire playerbase?” No that wasn’t what I was meaning.
They need to make more blue posts, videos and interviews with them explaining what their thoughts are on things and what their plans are. Like Mistweaver monks had been asking for changes for MONTHS and I think they got one blue post saying something like “yea we hear you” and that was it. That’s just not good enough.

I dunno if they still are, but Riot used to be pretty good about this.
Explaining the why behind a change, or an idea of what’s going on behind the scenes, can really help with a community.
“We tried some stuff with Mistweaver and didn’t like it” would tell the players practically nothing except: They know there’s problems, they’re actively working on the problems, and they care enough to acknowledge both of those things.
Silence tells the players you just don’t care.

Conduit energy seems like a problem that streamers like to complain about for clickbait but I’ve never seen a single person in game even mention it once.

Then shouldn’t some of us be made co-designers?
I’d wager one or more of the players know better than the devs per class and spec by now.
Yeah they do, like Limit Maximum. Not you, or anyone on GD.
That’s why they listen to him, and don’t bother to read these negative forums.
conduits help everyone but the raiders and mythic dungeon people and rated pvp. everyone and i mean everyone which is a majority it is wanted and helps you guys at the top are the only ones who dislike it.
What?
Anybody at that level of play are lunatics.
You’d be a fool to use them as a totem for class balance.

You don’t listen to grade school kids if you want to know the correct way to play basketball.
You listen to Michael Jordan. He’s demonstrated he knows the correct way. Results matter, not opinions of people who haven’t accomplished anything.

Yet it is the people Blizzard has to win.
They are losing them with their negligence.
