Guess we won’t know for sure til they implement this system ![]()
People already brick their CR to help friends with glad, and then push for title
Sifu acting like people make alts of main class just to screw lower rated players over because it’s ‘fun’.
I’ve been saying this since MOP.
It would absolutely destroy the market for carries.
It is absolutely 0 fun for someone new to get paired up against glad/duelist or even rival xp players.
Wellp, then you wouldn’t mind bricking your 2500 to help your friend too?
There is literally no other reason to spend time making/leveling/gearing a character of the same class unless it’s explicitly for smurfing (or you’re changing region, which is ok). If they didn’t care about their rating, they’d just use their main to queue different comps and with different friends and just gain/lose rating doing it.
You gotta better chance of the servers shutting down forever
I’m never gonna be in danger of getting a title in 3s so why would I care about my rating after finishing wins
Same, so it’s not an issue that’ll effect us and 99.5% of the population.
OK, and what is the reason you have 3 warriors?
If you wanna optimize stats early season there’s having alts for that, or if you pve and pvp, or queue with different people/teams.
Orrr just want another race.
For climbing ladder there’s leapfrogging.
Or literally take 10 seconds looking at what the top players are using ![]()
A few of them:
• Maybe I’m sitting rating on one.
• ‘Testing the waters’ example is going LFG and playing on an alt and if it goes poorly, I don’t lose anything.
• Different specs.
• Play with friends.
Fury use Mastery
Arms use Haste
You shouldn’t have to play an alt to enjoy the game.
You don’t have to, it’s just a matter of goals/interests and what’s best.
Who’s saying you do?
And how would this suggestion fix that?
Just like the title says make rating account wide.
1: Exactly. That is the problem with the system. You SHOULD be going out and playing the game winning and losing. Sitting rating is bad for the game.
2: You aren’t a pioneer. There are thousands of people testing waters.
3: You know what’s faster than making a new character, leveing them up, and gearing them? Hitting N and then clicking on another spec
4: You can still play with friends in this system.
