I’m recently,happened this Sunday, unemployed and have been thinking about going for my CDL or something.
Look at all the entitled pr#$%s completely ripping out their hair at the thought of having their planned time off ruined. LMAO You think you’re actually going to be able to login and play on launch day? Were you not there for WOD?
If you can try for a county job or law enforcement if you can. Trucking is a lonely life or if you have a partner you dont like it could be a extremely annoying one. Too many rules now and a lot of red tape compared to how it use to be. Law enforcement you can find a office that sponsors through the academy and have great benefits with a early retirement. A lot of agencies top out pay at around 75k too. Add that with your pension and benefits and you have a fantastic career
I think this is one of the few cases in gaming where that age range is not the target audience. The bulk of the people that are coming back for this late twenties through late thirties.
I’m in no hurry to level to 60. I plan to enjoy the ride and take my time. That being said, I’ve made plans so the launch is as stress free as possible. Launching during the week instead of on a weekend means Blizzard has time to react to any issues.
Besides, they already said it’s an all hands on deck event for them, Sure, they have weekend people, but launching during the week means they pay less overtime for full staff for launch.

Be an adult and take off just like everyone else.

This day and age I don’t understand why people take time off for launch day. It’s always a nightmare. If you were a smart adult you take the day after off, this way the server problems are sorted, you can actually log in and stay connected for more than 5 minutes, and the madness has somewhat settled.
Ive already explained I can only bid for days off and the beginning of a 6 month bid. I dont have job where I can take of at a moments notice.

They already moved it from the 27th to the 26th, so why not on up it to the weekend.
Oh By the way, Blizzard changed their plans to make Classic because of what the community said so your stupid for thinking they dont listen.

There’s a big difference between starting the planning process of releasing classic, and deciding 2 weeks before release to release it 1 week earlier because “some random person on the internet is so excited for it”.
