Personally, I don’t consider low AH prices to be toxic. Sounds like a good economy for the consumer.
But the the people with the cash are the critical piece to the equation - the person with the cash is the limiting factor, there will always be someone willing to sell the gold. When considering supply and demand, Multiboxers just add addition demand for tokens to an already saturated market.
The spirit of the new rules is to stop botting as much as possible, multi boxers were just caught in the crossfire.
Another thread full of assumptions. How refreshing
as you said, for the consumer, what about the average player who doesnt want to spend RL money on gold? how can they compete?
They bought and paid for their accounts. It’s not unfair. Get some friends together or get yourself some multiple accounts.
Multiboxing isn’t cheating. Using the software is illegal.
Yes it did.
They really don’t. Someone is going to farm that stuff somehow anyway. And lower prices is always better. We sell more.
They literally aren’t. Please learn the definition of pay to win.
Again, get some friends in PvP. It’s not unfair when you have options to combat it.
Apparently. Because nothing you said is toxic.
It’s not. $20 more for a $15 is mathematically more money. People aren’t quitting en masse over seeing some multiboxers every once in a while.
Lots of reasons. Maybe do some research on how others play?
And they’re adding $20 instead of $15.
there are TONS of ways to make gold in this game that don’t rely on farming herbs/ore
can you multibox without the software? cause if you cant, then its cheating
Yes you absolutely can. Muktiboxing is not cheating.
Well, with low AH prices you shouldn’t need to spend money on gold.
the fact the a market is cornered by boxer is a problem?
It’s not a problem. I still sold mats easily and quickly, even on now pop servers.
I mean MB was not that bad , but when it starts to be 10-20 accounts , it’s quite the advantage in farming you get over others … when all gathering professions are POINTLESS unless you MB , there’s a problem somewhere …
cause you are the end all be all of ah things lol
I’ve heard it a combination of hardware settings, macros, and VM software. VM software is not key mirroring software.
Neither are you. But at least I’ve dealt with a boatload of multiboxers selling mats.
Yes, but the fact that multiboxers forget is that is SOMEONE ELSE will buy the tokens, so banning multiboxers does not impact revenue.
the fact you have to find “a way around” something is sus. and @rhielle we 12?
Multiboxers devalue the economy
No they don’t. They have no appreciable effect on the economy. I sell the same items they do, and I make money just fine.
I mean, unless you REALLY want those items to go from 10-15G to 100-150G because everyone is too lazy to farm them, except the multiboxers.
Multiboxers are literally pay-to-win (why have a 1% chance of getting Rustfeather’s mount when I can pay for 5 accounts and quintuple my chances!)
By your logic, your single account is “pay to win” which you know is just nonsense.
Besides, things like Rustfeather are account bound, so farming it with 5 accounts doesn’t get it to the one account I’d want it on anyway, unless I get THAT lucky. It’s still a 1% chance per account, not 5% because I have 5 accounts. That’s not how math works.
Multiboxers represent a very large unfair playstyle, where one real person can nuke whoever they want
And are limited by the fact they are a single person controlling multiple bogeys that are easily focused and destroyed.
The problem is you are a single person with no leadership skills and you can’t get a group to focus them for you because you’re probably busy whining about how you’re losing the BG and everyone else is a crap player.
Do I need to go on refuting you?
The spirit of the new rules is to stop botting as much as possible
Pretty much this. Multiboxers just drew too much attention to themselves with the “look what I can do” thing all over the place the last year or so. This lead actual botters to go “I can use that” and now we are here.
I’m not acting like a child nor using made up words like “sus.” So no I’m not 12.
I have facts instead of assumptions.
