I am writing this in the hopes that someone actually reads these forums… " one can dream lol ". The thing I wish to address is the catalyst. Because the cat only gives one charge every two weeks, I do not have enough charges to create adequate set pieces once I progress out of Veteran level or adventurer level gear. Since it is pretty close to improbable to get a set piece from the raids now, We have to cat the gear from LFR and would content to be competitive enough to survive in normal. So by the time We/ I cat my vet gear and start getting champ gear ,we are left with champion gear with no charges to make them set pieces. Please not only make it one per week like it is supposed to be , but give us the 3 weeks that you did not give us charges so we can be on the proper track of progression. thank you.
the reason it was like this is that we get it day one and not wait after lfr get the final wing
youve done zero m+ …the best way to gear up…my friend it is not blizzard thats surpressing your gear progression
You get another charge next week and do heroic dungeons (or time walking) / lfr at a minimum for vault. Vault can give tier items.
They used to give you 1 charge every week after a month so 4 charges in 2 month vs now 1 charge each 2 weeks for 2 months so 4 charges in 2 months.
Catalyst is not supposed to be the fastest way to progress or get tier early, so you’ll have to wait or do more content. With the upgrade system and the catalyst it rewards players early for pushing content it is normal to feel that the system works against you if you’re trying to not do M+ at all as M+ is the way to go when it comes to gearing.

I’ve gotten like my whole set out of raid.
Something good is the +9 to +11 range.
+9 is when dungeon drops start on the champion track.
+11 gives you upgrade items for champion gear. So if you do it week to week you can end up around 476 without trying to hard.
