I have my doubts honestly, there’s definitely going to be PR backlash, but I’ve seen many a boycott in my time, including ones from the gaming community, and I really doubt Blizzard is gonna be like “wow you’re right, we’re gonna just stop doing business with the entire Chinese market which is a majority of our profits and completely screw over our shareholders”. If this was like, a boycott over not wanting Real ID in the game? Sure, definitely effective. But this? Probably not.
That’s why it’s important to vote for candidates in 2020 that want political solutions to helping the people of Hong Kong and putting a check on China’s humans rights abuses. Like I said above, my pick is Warren because she has laid out her plan for doing that already, and it’s one of many policy plans I like of hers.

When I read Carhagen’s post, I can smell someone who either has ties to the Chinese government, or openly supports them. You have a moral duty to be outraged over the indignities suffered. To be an apologist, really, really speaks volumes to your character and personal morality.
