Blizz, Hong Kong, Freedom of speech, lets have an Adult discussion

Yeah, I don’t think one person is creating 50 post. It’s probably more of 50 people creating a post to notify.

They’re allowed, you don’t have to read them.

It seems like something about other people expressing their desire to leave the game upsets you.

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but you do not, in fact, have to click on every single forum topic. The posts that you have ironically taken up more space to complain about all have pretty obvious titles. You could just… ignore them.

And if you think mass-quittings are ignored by companies, you’ve clearly never worked anywhere that depended on customers. I promise you that Blizzard has taken notice of this. Whether they’ll actually do anything about it… :man_shrugging:t4:

People are funny like that. A lot do not end up leaving, they just hope that their complaint causes others to complain as well. People also have unrealistic expectations that WoW will cater to their every whim and feel entitled to whine about it if they don’t get exactly what they want.

If people are truly unhappy enough with WoW to leave they should just leave without the big sob story.

What 100 or so cancels is going to make a dent in blizz?

Lol… you say that… but not so much.

#freeblitzchung.

You should refer everyone who is quitting wow to this link

You need to share that with the 100 million other people that have come and gone over the years that never deleted their account.

If massive amounts of players actually do leave they will care and drastic measures will be taken, you keep living in your pretend world, you do you.

And what do you call massive? The amount of posts here is a drop in the ocean of wow players…You are overselling the amount here…

It must have been a drop in the ocean when they had to weasel their decision on flying too.

If they made a stance for HK it would be financial ruin and the game would shut down. They can’t win either way.

Lol no where near the amount of people upset of this as there is of flying…

Yes, yes, they do care.

Reporting subs as a profit metric was just too broad for shareholders. You cant do analysis on them and extrapolate how they give Blizzard profit outside of the sub fee.

What they can do… is report out on average time played and MAU, which correlate to a higher chance to invest in in-game services, cash shop, and sub fees.

A big declining sub base irrevocably affects time played by the playerbase. While a few sub drops here and here do not affect the average, mass disapproval and sub drop will get their attention.

The issue comes up when i check the forum to read WoW news and instead get political “I Quit!” rants.

Muting them hides them, at least.

LOL, I am not waiting 30 days and sending them my ID. That is insane stupidity.

Why can’t I just DELETE MY ACCOUNT …

No, but this went mainstream…

NYT, Senator, etc.

Maybe not from US players, lets not forget just how large the Chinese player population is though. I hate facts sometimes too.

Rhetorical, I know… but
Because they know you’ll calm down and never go through with it.

There is this amazing thing you can do. it’s called ignoring it.
