The problem of the legality is not the biggest problem.
I’ve pointed many time that the morality of it is the biggest problem when they have claimed all those nice values and printed them on their walls it just become more absurd.
So its ok to lie to your consumers? Thats what im getting from your post.

Profit-motivated corporations do not act in accordance with any recognized moral code. It’s your option as a consumer, to not deal with them.
Then they do not get to claim they have one. And it’s our option to show our disagreements on this forum and other places and to condem it… I can’t wait to see Blizzcon if they do not decide to adress this before.

There’s still hundreds of guild called < Make Azeroth Great Again> and players called Maga.
If Blizzard forces a name change, that’s because it’s an automated system. You can flag anyone, or any guild’s name if you flag it enough.
No, this guild was forced to change its name because apparently enough players cried about the guild name. In this case, there actually was a blue explanatory post stating, among other points, that “MAGA” is an inflammatory name. shrug.
And if there still are guilds with that name and acronym, then those guilds must be on a server with players who aren’t offended by it enough to report them.
