If there is even a chance of collateral damage, you don’t take the shot.
I feel this is a bit dark and out of subject and a bit not respecting human lifes to be honest.
Nope, gun laws were not strictly enforced until mid 90’s in China.
K. That’s it then.
This isn’t 1989 this is 2019 30 years later.
If there is even a chance of collateral damage, you don’t take the shot.
Nonsense. There are so many people today that still defend what Obama did to Libya, supporting the ‘people’s revolution’. When I ask the question, ‘so do you think the innocent women getting raped and murdered in Libya today are acceptable losses?’ They are in complete denial saying Colonel Gaddafi owned a harem etc etc.
What? If you answered that at a (western) police academy, they would fail you immediately.
What does this have to do with it?
No massacre in the square, honesty, search the video clips on youtube taken by Spanish TV. Their reporter stayed in the square until 64 moring.
The killing happened on the road to the square. Someones tried to stop the troops by blocking the road, they succeed serval time before 64, but that night the army got the order to get into the square “by all means”.
“The Tiananmen Square Massacre didn’t happen because technically the people were killed on the road leading to the Square, not the Square itself”
K
My grandpa said he used to bring his hunting rifle to school with him and gone hunting when school was out. There was no such things as mass school shootings in the days of old. School shootings is a new age thing. And a problem that is out of control.
Banning guns is not solving anything other then lining someone elses pockets. The problem is mental health and what is being done so the mentally sick people don’t bring guns to school.
I don’t think China reputation needs that much explaining. You guys should focus on the role of Blizzard. We certainly can’t change much what will happen in China but we can condem and try to change Blizzard stance on the recent events.
I cant believe were debating what happened in Tiananmen Square. As if it matters if it happened 3 feet into it or half a mile back. The Army murdered so many.
People aren’t doing this because of guns, they’re doing this because they’ll get their face on cable news.
15 minutes of fame, and all that.
Also, #freeblitzchung
Prohibitions do not work. Never have and never will. They only create illegal markets for the banned item(s) and illegal products are likely to be less safe/more dangerous than legitimate ones governed by some oversight and regulations.
Bans and prohibitions only prevent law abiding citizens from obtaining the prohibited item/items. People inclined to break the law will have no problem at all acquiring whatever they want, prohibited or not.
What we need to do is petition our congressmen and representatives to pass legislation aimed at beginning a transition away from China’s economy. Blizzard won’t leave China unless the US government tells them to do so, and they will fight it since that hurts their bottom line. However, it is necessary, since they are a puppet to a totalitarian regime as long as they get most of their money from there. The way they treated Blitzchung proves that point.
Now, you’re talking. Start locally, work your way up. Sadly, that is how things get done. Beware the very strong China lobby though…
If enough Americans support a boycott of China, it may possibly could happen.
Why don’t you ask Trump to stop his business in China? Or Microsoft, Disney and blahblah.
Your stance was a stance against collateral damage in a conflict.
This isn’t the stance I have observed of the US in general. In fact, just a few months ago in my country they raided the public broadcaster from daring to report that innocent civilians had been shot and killed in Afghanistan or whatever. Sad.
?
You live in Afghanistan?
“The earliest known United States shooting to happen on school property was the Pontiac’s Rebellion school massacre on July 26, 1764, where four Lenape American Indian entered the schoolhouse near present-day Greencastle, Pennsylvania, shot and killed schoolmaster Enoch Brown, and killed nine or ten children (reports vary). Only two children survived.”
It’s been happening all along, Now it just gets more media attention due to technology.
It would take more then wows player base for a boycott to work. More like half or three quarters of the US have to Boycott every china product.
