Blizz, Hong Kong, Freedom of speech, lets have an Adult discussion

They aren’t wrong though

Any company in the world, if it wants to do business in another country is legally obligated to follow the rules and laws if that nation. Period.

Whether it’s America, China, Russia, Australia, etc.

If you want to do business in those countries, you follow their rules and laws or you don’t do business.

Welcome to the real world kid.

I look forward to your next desperate deflection of the truth

EDIT: Apparently people don’t understand context… Promoting human rights is not “pushing a political agenda” or “being political” its called being a decent human being.

EDIT: See post 35 before you comment something dumb.

FINAL EDIT: It’s not political because the reality of the situation is so obvious. Human rights apply to all and are vitally important. The end, bye bye!

Tell that to the Natives, African-Americans, Japanese, Arabs, Mexicans, Irish, Jewish and other ethnic groups that were or still are subject to political motivations regarding their rights.

Yes, it is politics. I don’t think you understand what that word means.

No you don’t get. Human rights isn’t “speaking politics” or “pushing an agenda” it’s more than that. It’s fundamental quality of life.

Politics - “The art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs.”

Certainly sounds like this is politics.

Get politics outta here. Period. If I wanted to have political discussions, this would be the last place I’d want to look in. This is a place to relax and unwind from all the RL crap. Don’t drag it into RL.

Context is a foreign concept to you.

Blizzard did an oopsie. They stand behind equality when its beneficial to their wallets. If anything I hope this opens the left’s eyes to where blizzards true intentions are…their eastern overlords. Who also btw, hate our pink haired non binary friends.:earth_americas::rocket::sunny:

And what context do you think makes human rights not a political issue?

Yes it is. What constitutes a human right and doesn’t is one of the main political conflicts.

Okay, you seem to be taking a really simple way of thinking about this, which I understand, but you are just simply wrong.

This IS politics. Of course, we think that you should have certain freedoms and such because it seems so obvious. When discussing others countries they might have completely different views. Which makes it political.

For example, for some people they might think it’s insane to believe that abortion is illegal because they can see this as a human right to do what you want with your body, clearly others disagree. It’s all political.

Just look up the definition politics and just try to understand.

When someone brings up a human rights issue and someone says “dont talk about politics here” as if we’re debating the minimum wage or something, get out of here with that. Human rights is above political issues
