Blizz has outdone themselves (not)

criticized them last patch for basically making us fight stuff that we no longer needed to fight (the radiant flame stuff which was basically just older WQ’s)

now with this lorewalking stuff they actually have us repeating old quests…

isnt that what wow classic is for? i know its asking a lot…but how about NEW content?

This is literally the point, though. Lorewalking serves as a way to introduce new players to some of the important bits of lore from this game’s 20+ years of existing (and Warcraft’s 30+ years of existing) without forcing players to sift through the literal thousands upon thousands of quests that may or may not be related to any of it.

This is the exact sort of thing you should recycle content for.

like i said i thought that was the purpose of classic

this just seems really lazy

No, the purpose of Classic is to appeal to the manchildren who peaked in 7th grade back in 2004-2006.

It’s objectively not. Some sort of “lore TL;DR” feature is literally one of the most widely-requested features this game has ever seen.

Purpose of classic was to cash in on the nostalgia and stop letting the private servers get it all.

Has nothing to do with anything you said

Yes, this is precisely what I said. To appeal to the manchildren who peaked in 7th grade back in 2004-2006.

Your name is tendies. Stones in glass houses, if you will.

You clearly don’t understand the mindset of the average Classic player then.

The point of Lorewalking to tie and highlight stuff from the past that has relevance to the current story in the War within and the next two expansions of the world soul saga
