Sooo I was logged in, playing early Northrend questline. Game crashes from “internal connection issues” and I relog, mind you. never had issues all day or previously. Now I am subject to a 3 hours que timer? for logging off for 1 minute?
Hate this game. 15 year customer.
Never, ever, will these launches be intended for true fans nor do they prepare for real server loads of 2022. Insane. Lol whats the point in playing hours after release and missing the sole purpose of a reboot? The early questing.

Happened to me too, and few other people around here. The incompetence doesn’t even surprise me anymore. Blizz does not give a **** about the customer experience.

only incompetence is the dumb playerbase, there is a grace period, you won’t get a q if you re log, you people are stupid for all going to 1 or 2 servers, player created problems, room temp iq playerbase

That is my point stated clearly, the frustration I have. That I did not get my relog que placement. I relogged in matter of seconds. On top of that lost the beerfest buff I log for.
dont worry bois im at 1800 another 3 hours and we golden after a 8 hour wait
Want to be even more ticked? Some of those in front of you are bots farming gold. Just saw a group of Aaaabafadsrfe names making a beeline for Scholozar.

You are part of what is so wrong with this community. In some ways yes it’s a player created problem, but not a problem created by all players and yet all players on said realm suffer. Some have been on these servers since day one and now they’re supposed to leave their friends and guild?
It’s too bad Blizzard didn’t know how popular WotLK was going to be or have the ability to stop free transfers to certain servers before they become mega servers. Oh wait they did. But yeah 100% player problem.

Why would they pay for better servers for the one day every year that a release happens and everyone logs in at once? All that happens is the usual crying by people who don’t know what they’re talking about, the threats to unsub, etc, and it all goes away in a day or two
They don’t need better serves. They need to dispose of the servers altogether. There should BE no servers. Merge it all.
Idk why would they charge people for a 10 year old reloaded file and add in game purchases? These classic launces are almost 100% bottom line profit for Blizz, also this is now the 3rd year they have had over a month long worth of server issues at launch? Lol dont know about you. But player base was MUCH larger in early 2000’s, not sure if you remember how smooth those server releases were. The problem is they are deleting them every expansion and adding “new player” servers and forcing people to transfer there until they are overpop again. I think you may just need to educate yourself a bit more, or understand the how hard the real fans of this game are getting shafted. Whereas a multibox account is getting by with a breeze.
Working as intended. It’s how it works back then. Good thing Retail has Shards, most Servers are half-filled causing no queue times during log in.
People should not get punished for wanting to play on a popular server
you aren’t being punished, sweetie.
you’re just waiting in a line.
ummmmm,…wellllll…uhhhhhhhh…
You really need to get off the forums. Every post you make is obnoxious. You’re such a massive bell-end you’d put Ron Jeremy to shame.

I don’t know about their history, but they aren’t technically wrong.
Within the confines of what Blizzard set up… it’s entirely player’s faults. Except for those that were on those smaller not full shards that were transferred to.
And Blizzard could fix it by forcing splits while still maintaining guilds.
They could have also balanced the servers and given players no choice where they went. Instead of calling servers names that players can put value in for how much they like em, they could just call them server A, B, C, D and force players into each server.
If someone wanted to play with a friend, they could give limited invites out to each account that restore themselves over time. Like only let an account invite one player every other day or something.
All are well within possiblity.
