Because Blizzard is out of touch and have repeatedly announced things, promised changes, and ignored the community. This is just another time they let us down. None of us are surprised, it’s like they want their game to fail. But your suggestion of unsubbing is the best choice for people miffed by this because what else can you do

chill classic will get the xp buff during their pre-patch.
What does “games easy” have anything to do with leveling lol.
Supposed to get it prior to prepatch according to Blizzard Devs.

leveling is easy, unless you want to go on a fresh server, in which case, wait for the fresh announcement, then enjoy being perpetually broke while leveling lol.
I criticize pointless whining with no valid concerns, i have countless legitimate criticisms of blizzards practices, this isn’t one of them, this is just the perpetual whining of unhappy people who need therapy, not for blizzard to do what they think they want.

if you dont like playing the game, play something else, leveling was already nerfed, and will be nerfed further in prepatch, even without a 50% buff.

Your alt count probably isn’t even half of mine. This isn’t about “like playing the game”.
Using the tools given wisely. In this case, an exp buff, is smart gameplay.
Also, I didn’t like TBC, so I sat that part out.

So? It could be 50% faster. Being 50% faster doesn’t even affect the difficulty of the task. Just the length.

Doesn’t matter that leveling was already nerfed and the games easy. No one is complaining about that.
Being upset and vocalizing it is a valid criticism for what they did today.
People have been asking for updates on this since last week and haven’t heard a thing. Now today Blizzard drops a 50% xp buff for Retail even though it was never mentioned or even asked for and gives literally 0 updates for it’s release in the version of the game it was actually announced for.
Then they give a cheeky “we didn’t forget about you” PR tweet as if that’s any type of reconciliation.
They should of known and done better. I know that. You know that. They know that.
You’re annoying dude. Some people would like to enjoy the game they play and they’re free to make a complaint if they’d like.

why does everyone need the obvious spelled out to them? wraths not ready, clearly, they need to do more bug fixing, so we aren’t getting an exp buff, until prepatch, which is why this entire thread is pointless, as the whole purpose of the exp buff is to prepare people for an imminent expansion to the game, not to get people to max level just for the sake of it.
Pointless thread, worthless complaints, all the things wrong with tbc classic and smooth brains are whining about this? read between the lines and stop wasting time. The amount of time whiners spend on this forum crying for an exp buff, you could be most of the way to 70 by now lol.

Blizz promised xp buff to land well before the pre-patch. They said it would be “in the coming weeks” 4 weeks ago.
And then the did it…but not for us
