I just want to kill him. Trying to farm rep and would really love to hit that courtyard and finally kill the big bad Ordos. Buuuuut you need a legendary cloak to get into the sanctuary, and that cloak is no longer available… Are you really not going to let another player kill him ever again if they didn’t get the cloak in Mists?!
Is there ANY other way to get in there?! Can you get in if someone in your group has the cloak?
Cant u use the glider?
If you never got the cloak in Mists, you get ported out if you try to get to the Ordos area.
I can physically get across to where the sanctuary is with a glider, yes. But you can’t enter the courtyard/sanctuary grounds without the cloak, it boots you out back to the celestial grounds if you don’t have it
All i remember is gliding over but that was for killing Allis or farming …

Yeah there’s like a back area that I can get into to kill some mobs for the rep… but can’t get into the main area to kill Ordos or the Archierius of Flame or w/e it’s called 
You can kill him without the cloak. I’ve done it. Trick is to glide in behind him from fatigue zone but make sure you land on the grass behind his platform or you get ported out. Then move to the left side but stay behind his platform. Aggro him with ranged and blow your cd’s before he resets. He doesn’t drop any loot for players who didn’t get the cloak though. Nor do you get the fos for killing him.
This is one of those baffling decisions that I can’t wrap my head around. There is absolutely no point in keeping him locked to those with cloaks. His rewards aren’t unique, and you can’t get the item to access him so why even leave him in the game? It isn’t like it’s some super special club for only those who played on MoP; just open the place up already.
How do you glide in from behind? I can’t get anywhere high enough to do that, unfortunately… I don’t seem to be able to get up to Garnia’s area anymore because no matter what I do I one-shot the albatrosses that carry players up there. I was literally naked with a level 10 crossbow and STILL killed it x_x

Right?? And the kicker is I DID play through Pandaria, pretty much all of it actually, but I had to unsub near the end for a while due to real life things… this feels like they’re just punishing people who didn’t happen to be around for those last few specific months. It makes no sense.
Swim out to sea (use water walking booties). You’ll hit fatigue zone. Fly up (high). Dismount and glide in. Super easy.
As to the albatross, just aggro them with a non-dps skill. Hunter ranged silence etc.
I wouldn’t see it as a punishment, since the items and achievement aren’t really special. It’s just one of those head scratchers to add to the list of them that Blizzard has been causing lately. They were going to remove the requirement at one point, and then they just…didn’t. It’s just so weird to me.
Well yeah I mean I used “punishment” because I couldn’t think of a better word haha. You know what I mean though. It’s just really stupid and doesn’t make sense, as you say… its a head scratcher
While i do find it stupid for it to be like this , i understand why blizzard did not touch it .
MoP cloak and it’s perk are just like other removed content , exclusive to those who were there and finished it . Players just hold way less personal value towards it compared to CM or MT stuff . Nobody brags they can go to ordos area and farm there in peace 
Touching anything related to those just opens up the door for everyone to ask to touch CM or MT or any other removed content…
Edit: i have all of those btw , and i wont ever be one to refuse the idea of bringing them back , just saying why i see blizz not touching that.
I guess. I just don’t even care if I get an achievement or loot or anything, I just want the satisfaction of killing him and to be able to farm the mobs in the courtyard haha
Yea i understand that all to well , i would totally redo alot of the removed content if it were brought back , i would probably redo all of them at least once , for the fun of it more than anything else since i already did them for the rewards .
he drops a robe that i want for my monk
it really is strange that you cant actually fight him and get loot even though its right there. idk why blizzard hasnt fixed it yet

People who read my post history know how I feel about removing content. I wish they made Ordos accessible, but they put his items on the Black Market Auction House, so it might be too late.
