Do you know how toxic Grizzly has been for not only Sulfuras but all of WoW?
Before Grizzly came to Sulfuras there was literally none of this nonsense. Grizzly would sit on BWL orb for hours not letting anyone even close to touching it. The list goes on and on but that is just one example.
Grizzly also colluded with a Horde guild to turn in the war effort, but turned around and backstabbed them by mass reporting all of the Horde guild players INCLUDING the Horde Scarab Lord.
Grizzly ended up getting banned until about 6:00 EST, and they got exactly what they deserved. They started all of this nonsense, they dished it out but they can’t take it. They are going to cry and cry to Blizzard until they overturn it, but it should NEVER be over turned. Also, it’s just like the end of Training Day. The entire Horde was galvanized to stopping Grizzly pugs and guilds alike, while virtually no other Alliance guilds even cared as they hate Grizzly just as much as the Horde.
Oh and by the way, the player they mass reported on the horde side was the first to ring the gong - poetic justice indeed.
I expect Blizzard to allow a STREAMER to ring the gong in a completely isolated manner now, get the mount, and recode so only they have the title in-game. It’s just how they roll.
Double points if they are HORDE or if it will somehow nerf Paladins. Again, Blizzard has clearly shown how they roll. Favor streamers, Horde, or item nerfs that in reality only affect Paladins.
Only mad at Blizzard celebrity justice i.e. the Swifty Debacle and possibly right here!
It’s the three other guilds were petitioning for.
Three guilds. Three communities full of good people that have been on the server since day one. These people were cheated out of all their hard work BECAUSE of grizzly.
Well, too bad for everyone vying for Scarab Lord. That is the risk of playing on a PvP server. It would be absurd for Blizzard to revert the results of this timed event.
A PvP solution was available but they were too weak to accomplish it.
Not everyone should get a ribbon/participation trophy because a guild put in a week’s work.
Three guilds that could have gotten together, killed the Horde, and driven them off long enough to turn in the quest. If three guilds together can’t get enough people together to clear the Horde out long enough to turn in the quest, then I have to question whether they were actually able to get the mats together for Scarab Lord without botting or RMT.
Yes 3 guilds so let’s say 150 people can wipe 400 to 700horde. You must have a really low opinion of the horde.
10-15 people for 10 hours a day gets you most of the scarab lord requirements in a week. No even comparable to what is required to wipe 400+ horde all at once.
I think what they were trying to tell you is that was the option available to you, not that it was easy. That’s the thing about pvp servers, there is a pvp solution available , that doesn’t mean it’s handed to you.
There was no PvP solution that was possible though. It took 2 mins+ just to get off the gryphon from flying there. There was more than grizzly trying to finish the quest but due to zone disruption they were unable to. Poor design I guess, but the potato servers didn’t help.
The horde provided these guilds options before Grizzly got in the picture. Sucks that it didn’t work out but I’m sure Grizzly doesn’t care about those three guilds not getting the title. All they care about is themselves.
Why not just do a Rend UBRS run? Clear all the way to the BWL portal that’s what alot of guilds do these days if you want to preserve world buffs for that raid
