Blizz confirmed!? Mobs DMG = low/incorrect!?

Are there some individual mobs where it’s inaccurate?

You can still do it before 26, but you’ll have more downtime and you have to be more careful. That aside, you can start as soon as you spec for Imp. Blizzard.

I haven’t seen any definitely proven as inaccurate.
Some are harder to find evidence for but otherwise numbers so far seem close-ish for a lot of mobs.

Okay, so OP is literally just making it up? No evidence?

We literally all called this. That once the pserver crowd started seeing the official Blizzard version of the game there would be claims about it being “too easy,” all beacuse like what we’ve been saying, their pserver was not accurate.

Most of the numbers I’ve been seeing as touted as inaccurate are actually numbers from pservers and pserver based databases that show higher numbers.

I’ve tested it. It’s faster lvling as fire until 26 and then respecing to Frost AoE build and heading over to the human farm/mines west of Tarren Mill.

???

Most of the people on this forum were saying that once the pserver crowd started seeing the official Blizzard version, they would be claiming it’s too hard. The pserver players have constantly been told by people here that pservers were much easier than Vanilla WoW.

I’m not in beta yet so we can only go off of info collected from streamers and other testers. Hence the ? at the end of the title.

And Pserver players were saying, themselves, that pservers were overtuned.

Not at 30 but at 33 or 34 yes. You need pots and first aid but it’s doable. That dagger is awesome for a while.

Yeah that I can see. But I think the beta invite cap is at level 30 so that’s the level he was doing it as.

“Bring back classic!!! But absolutely no changes!!!” …”We don’t want you to change or balance anything!! We want vanilla!!” …(gets vanilla) —-> “wait, can you make it harder? can you go into the code and start adjusting stuff??”

I think private servers changing codes and having to manually input values that they didn’t have access to over the years has clouded peoples memory. There is nobody that can provide proof other than Blizzard of what those original values were. No video can give you 100% details of armor, gears stats used, etc.

This can’t be said enough. Blizzard has a copy of the original 1.12.1 client/server running right now for the development staff. They use it as the gold standard for everything as it gets ported over to the new architecture.

If a problem like this surfaces in the beta, as long as it is reported with some specificity they can (and do) check out the behavior in the original and fix as needed.

Relax. This is what the beta testing is for.
