im trying to build a tower outside my house and because the Bel’hemeth platform decor cost 5 to place and we only get 350 exterio budget i cant finish my build. im happy they increase exterior budget to 250 but its still not enough.

Increase the size to the fullest. Rugs also work as they have collision and can extend the furthest distance at 3 budget.
Call me a Salty Sally but I have a terrible feeling that Microsoft-Blizz will add more building budget for hearthsteel.

If they were going to do this, they would have done it already. They’ve had three chances to do so.
But I suppose you’ll just counter that with “But it’s an evergreen system so they have an infinite number of chances to do it” and to that I say…religious cults have tried to predict the end of the world for their respective fan club since humans have been able to think up religion, and probably an untold amount of unrecorded time since we became sentient reflective creatures instead of just instinctual ones and never been right, but I suppose for as long as humanity and religion are both around, eventually they’ll have to be somewhat right in the infinite timescale of the universe.
So I guess I’ll meet you back at this thread in x number of expansions if blizzard ever claims that X expansion is the last one, and then an infinite amount of maintenance patches after that until the game shuts down to see if they ever add Budget for Hearthsteel.
Its comments like these that frustrate me the most about this community; sorry for caps lock but I feel it’s the only way people will read this.

THE STUFF IN THE STORE (aside character services like name, server and race/faction changes) IS 100% COSMECTIC THAT DOESNT INCREASE YOUR CHARACTERS POWER (if you want to claim level boosts, that’s wrong since you start with lower ilvl).

But we’re not in 12.1 now, are we? Since Housing is one of the big expansion sellers, it takes priority over some dumb plague toy and everything added to classic. Also, that announcement said nothing about us non-human and orc players getting our themed houses and furniture. The other original playable races need to be respected and given their due.
You do realize that it takes time to develop and properly test content, so it doesn’t catastrophically crash everything else, I’m sure they are aware of the high demand for other exterior and interior styles but again, that takes time to develop in a form that is usable for player housing; I want more hallowfall decor but I know there is a lot of steps and processes to go through to make that available. And my complaint about your comment was about the false notion that blizzard was going to make the budget increases locked behind a pay wall in hearthsteel even though it’s going to be unlocked through the extra 3 housing levels that are 100% free to everyone. You just need to be patient; we haven’t even left Midgar in terms of housing yet.

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha, HA! Blizz doesn’t test anything. They haven’t in years. The PTR is just their Early Access hype train. The fact that the quest, A Humble Servant, made it into live is proof of this.
AND after the Garrison debacles, we need to bring the hammer down on Blizz. They’ve got time to make a “Hardcore” and glorified fan fic, season of discovery, servers. When they NEED to prioritize the actual game.
Given how much Blizz loves Paladin’s over everyone else, I’d put money on you getting your decor long before I get mine. I’m mean really long. Like Captain America’s hurmhurmhurm in his latest skin, the seaside sentinel one, kind of long.

I’m not a personal fan of the classic stuff either but there is a market for it, so it is what it is; in terms of garrisons, not a fan of that either but they have learned extensively from that when it came to housing otherwise housing would have been awful from the start rather than the expansive system we already got so far, THAT THEY PLAN TO IMPROVE UPON GOING FORWARD, WE ARE STILL LITTERALLY IN THE FIRST TIER OF THE EXPANSION WHEN HOUSING WAS INTRODUCED AND HAVE SINCE THEY HAVE ADDED NIGHTELF AND BLOODELF EXTERIORS AND INTERIORS, MORE DECOR, INCREASED BUDGETS FOR THE 9 LEVELS WE GOT AT THE START.
And you haven’t said a word about what decor you want, there is a separate megathread about decor requests which mine was the music box from our garrisons; all you’ve done is try to throw shade at everyone else rather than be constructive; does Blizzard need to be called out when they massively drop the ball, yes of course, but housings isn’t something they’ve dropped the ball on, it’s still growing and developing and that takes time, something you clearly don’t understand.
And just as Blizzard needs to be called out when they severally make a game shattering bad choice like garrisons, ap grinds and WoD/ Shadowlands; We need to call out the PLAYERS who don’t offer constructive criticisms and instead throw tantrums and shade without any explanation why; and like before you’ve completely avoided my original point about you spreading misinformation.
