BLIZZ bring back player screenshot showcase on website and make varied loading screens

We always have to see the exact same loading screen artwork recycled over and over and over again. It’s just a picture.
Wouldn’t it be a great opportunity to showcase fan-made art? Like from the competitions? OR even cooler: bring back the wow screen-shot section on the website where we used to have a showcase of the players sending in their screenshots. Then why not have a random selection of that for loading screens?
Or, if that is some kind of issue, can’t they rotate the pictures of like 50 or 100 different ones so it is always inspiring? It would be so easy to implement, and it is such a wasted opportunity.
I feel like there are many things like this in WoW. We need some freshness.

Is your hamster that starved to where you’re staring at the loading screen for longer than a few seconds?

after over 10 years, yes lol

I miss WoW’s “screenshot of the day”, some of those were very hilarious.

i know, i remember them. And then some guy would write poems in the comments of whatever screenshot was, or a story about it. It was very creative

Also, where did the community art tab go?

I suspect that they had issues from what some of the more popular artists drew outside of the contest.

They were afraid to compete with the talented artists outside of the dev team.

they were replaced by external websites like deviantart. community art tab got deleted when they switched to discourse. if it cant fit on a mobile phone it got DELETED.

Neat idea. I love alternate loading screens. It helps when doing alt stuff as well. Could show off scenery, battles, or concept art!

A lot of it is on Twitter and the WoW twitter has a regular MogMonday as well. They don’t really use the forums for engagement I feel.

To be fair, WoW has moved to “mog mondays” but that is more of a twitter thing(I refuse to call it X)

Sounds like you need to replace your hamster.
