They’re still an office job lol. Offices are not very productive in the end of December.

I don’t know if they take 3 weeks but yes, they did this for Cataclysm, which was released December 7th.

Why? OP is asking about right now.
What excuse? Are you expected to always be at your job 24/7? Or is that only a thing when your toy is broken? Companies still have people who are allowed vacation. This isn’t uncommon at the end of the year, but stay mad.
Even if they aren’t 100% all on vacation, any real tuning will come in a patch down the road, not pieced out to appease whiny forum goers.

Over here they do a 3 month quasi shutdown as the employees take 4 week vacations in blocks.
You don’t ever expect to get stuff done in a timely manner in summer in Sweden.

Although seriously, we’d all be a lot MORE pissed off if we were still playing BFA right now because they had pushed SL all the way into Jan. (Not to mention the potential legal issues around preorders.)

They deserve their vacation like any other person. A game is not more important than their family you absolute manbaby.
It’s a game. You’ll be fine for a week. Go outside. Take a shower. Read a book. Unreal.
