Ok you know how there cracking down on pay with real money boosting well I have seen the same ad twice with a different person advertising there services. When you go to the site there are real cash tags on different runs and things. Whats weird is that they have been showing up when I have been watching wow content from different streamers and anything wow. Yesterday it came up before hazelnutty and then today soulsobreezys videos.
People on these forums constantly suggest others “touch grass.” So I decided to keep a potted plant with some grass growing in it, so I can touch grass while at the computer.
Touching grass does not seem to be the panacea people describe it as.
I’ve seen these adds too and it’s always an eye-rolling experience. (Same as baby adds and pet adds for me, as I have no interest in any of those things.)
C’mon YouTube, you should know me better than this!
It’s so annoying and dismissive. Too bad they disabled the dislike button so I have to report instead.
It just makes no since that it’s shown on there with blizzard has said is against there terms of service so I don’t understand why ytube would advertise that if it’s against those kind of things.
You’re touching the wrong “grass”. Find a local herb store and get the right kind of grass.
Blizzard does not have any authority whatsoever when it comes to YouTube ads.
You are the World's Silliest Clown for suggesting otherwise.
YouTube doesn’t care what Blizzard wants. The client paid, so they run their ad.
Boosting for real-life money is against Blizzard’s policy. It is not illegal.
YouTube can openly encourage breaking a company’s policies and it’s fine.
They are under no obligation to respect any of Blizzard’s wishes.
There’s bugs and stuff in it, though.
Do yourself a favor and edit your post to remove the name of the site. You can get a ban from the forums for posting such information. Mods can still read it, and pass the information on to the right people. Also you can send an email to hacks@blizzard.com
Their has been a surprising amount of adds all over youtube, and I doubt the content creators have any sway over whose being advertised on their channel. Pretty certain it’s an algorithim that matches ads with certain types of videos.
Right, Youtube is under no obligation, but reporting it is still important, as Blizzard can still send a cease and desist to the sites.
Unless Google buys Blizzard they can’t really do anything about ads on YouTube.
And there’s way too many things potentially in the grass your touching that are gross, crawly, and venomous.
I think that is the wrong type of grass but I would not know as I am allergic to grass and have avoided touching it since I was a child.
There is no way for YouTube channels (youtubers) to track what adds we get. Its based on the viewers viewing habbits and what YouTube gets paid to promote.
Yes, please. Do not offer these sites free advertising.
I am utterly amazed every time I see a post like this at how many people browse the internet without adblocks or a VPN or like… anything. Just so strange to me, how do you do it?
I subscribe to YouTube Premium so I never see ads.
Maybe they burn sage and throw chicken bones to ward off curses.
Have… Have you been watching me?
Are you my FBI Agent?
I mean that works I guess, I just downloaded Opera
Dang, fresh out of sage D:
Blizz has no authority over youtube ads.
As much as I enjoy some content on youtube, I can’t justify the extra expense. I’d rather support my favorite channels through their patreon.
