Dude… now you’re just making things up. We were never told it was going to be unlocked per character, and we still don’t know thats the case. I most definitely have never been fine with any of that.
Whatever the case may turn out to be, your attempts at whipping up a frenzy are not helpful.
You expect us to believe, that the community who comes to the forums the very milisecond something is announced and makes 30 threads on it that unlocking flying will be toon by toon just went under the radar?
Blizzard said, “by completing covenant activities and campaign chapters.” None of which are account wide. You can’t even wear the armor you unlocked on an alt of the same covenant. They have to unlock it themselves.
They didn’t say that. Maybe wait for more info before claiming that you don’t get an achievement like the Pathfinder achievements.
With Pathfinder you only had to do the rep grinds on a single character for it to count. You don’t know that this system isn’t the same way.
Which might just be one or two new chapters after 9.1 launches. There’s nothing saying that you’re going to have to spend weeks doing covenant campaign quests in order to unlock it. It might just be an hour or two of gameplay. Again, don’t jump to conclusions that you don’t have.
Which you should have on your main by the time 9.1 comes around.
Don’t worry guys you don’t have to unlock per character, these guys have no idea what they are talking about and likely just intentionally trying to create drama on GD>
Nothing was ever mentioned about having to do it in the manner these guys are suggesting.
I’m already not worried about it, I know they are wrong, and if they aren’t wrong the forums will be ablaze and Blizz will change it and then they’ll be wrong
You don’t even need to do the renown quests, I forgot to do mine the other week and I got my catchup renown token as soon as I killed a raid boss the following Tuesday. I bet you could just do the 1k anima quest every week - or maybe even no renown quests - and never be more than a week behind assuming you’ve finished the campaign.
