That was at max level, that is when I hit cap I can buy it , no grind /timegate/rep/nothing.
This is totally different but the compromise was account wide unlock - now no idea if it is true.

I’m assuming the flying mounts would follow the same rules as the ground mounts which means they would only work in the hallways and inner and outer rings. It’s annoying enough now with all the dismounting…

Grinding renown is nothing. If you haven’t done the covenant quest line you’ll get all the renown up to the current max level as catchup while completing it.
Wait 3 weeks then you can bust out max renown in an afternoon of questing. Compared to mechagon or nazjatar this is a joke.

I’m not sure what you are going on about here. They never said anything about if it would be account wide or not, people are just jumping to conclusions. Also if you are implying that I flagged you, I never flag anyone.

They absolutely indicated that flying would be unlocked by character. They so much as come out and said that pathfinder was going away. What other indication did you need?
I can’t imagine that they would unlock flying and then only let you fly in your Covenant zone. That simply doesn’t make sense. Also, stands to reason it’d be an account wide achievement.
Blizzard basically treats flying like a catch up mechanic. Unlock it on one, your other alts get to benefit from it because of the acheivment you earned.
Nothing’s been confirmed yet, we don’t have details, and people are having an absolute fit.

They said Pathfinder was going away.
That’s no the same as ‘Account Bound Flying’. The flying was tied to an achievement. It makes more sense that they’re just swapping out one achievement for another with the same reward.

Then how do you explain to those of us that knew this was going to happen? We were told that flying was going to be unlocked toon by toon. And you were fine with it as long as it had nothing to do with pathfinder.
Flying was never account bound until pathfinder.
