Blitz in-lobby matchmaking needs to take into account CR

I haven’t done it personally (duo with someone to pull me up into higher MMR matches) but MMV seems extremely volatile. A few wins or losses can easily equate to hundreds of MMV in one direction or the other depending on wins or losses.

I’m curious as to what happens to someone’s MMV when they are brought up into a much higher game, win and lose. The character doing the boosting has to be a throwaway alt basically. I’m pretty sure people wouldn’t want to take a hit for losing a match hundreds of MMR below their CR on their main.

What I imagine is that boosters actually sell MMV, not CR. The CR comes with high MMV since you won’t lose CR for losses until they start to converge again. So, buying MMV injections would be the way things are done.

I was in 2800-2900 MMR lobbies 10-15 games in to the grind on my Rogue, this was probably 3-4 weeks ago.

Which is interesting to me, because with 10-15 games in on several characters with 80% to 90% win rates I never saw a match over 1600. Most matches were under 1400.

Yeah, I went 5-0 on my Shaman like 2 weeks ago and I was in nothing but < 1400 games. No idea how the math is mathin’

I’m now at 2720 CR, playing at 3k MMR and it’s still the same lol

Whichever team gets the least sub 2.2k CR players on a lucky winstreak is most likely going to crush the other team and win.

This bracket is a mess, at least balance the teams inside the lobby.
