Bans will do nothing anyways because blizzard doesn’t ban IPs. These people will just make new accounts and get boosted right back to where they were by their friends. Unfortunately as long as Healer duo queue is a thing, BGB doesn’t stand a chance. Never should have given healers the option, because now they will protest if its removed.

I mean I’m not even sure why people didn’t protest this more at the start? It was specifically designed to attract pay to win. As much as I dont like ion, he is smart. He knows how to keep his job through the entire cubicle crawl shenanigans….token sales! I bet there is no info on how much money blizz makes on token sales. Blitz was designed for token sales even though PvP participation is small compared to m+. Any token is better than no token.

I didn’t play at the end of Dragonflight, but I definitely would have protested this. I mean I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist… but it seems like Ion and other people at blizzard work with these sites that sell boosts

Buddy…probably. The worst thing to ever happen. Was for him to take over wow/ if we ever want to see PvP get some attention he’s gotta go.

Tried to do some 2s, have not touched it this season, 1kcr, those are not normal players, Piloting accounts or no telling what but you can tell, those are pros. And Shuffle, is all about the win trading, Multi glad one round, newb the next lol.
They run off the player base, thats money they lose out on.

I can personally guarantee that wintrading and boosting is happening in every single lobby higher than about 2100 mmr. You just have to turn on any blitz streamer and you can see them and their chat making “jokes” about people who are win trading for each other and people getting boosted. It’s an open secret so open they openly joke about it. In the open.

Blizzard may or may not care about low end cheating for say the 1600 token. But when its rampant at the higher end however, Blizz gets very interested. The ones who exploited post patch for high end PvE ladders are getting a ban!
Players think they got away w cheating nope, Blizz just take their time and studies the bots n cheats. May be a month, maybe 6 months, but that Wave is still coming lol.

I think wintrading is happening in just about every single lobby period. Been playing Battleground Blitz practically all day today (10/26/2024) and I have lost basically every single match without fail. Most of them involve a number of teammates not even properly playing objectives, often just hovering around fighting in the middle of the map en masse and still somehow losing.
In one match I was in, most of the players were registering at 0 rating on both teams even though I was on a character at 1200+ rating.

If the RMT money Boosters were good for the game, brought more people into playing wow I would be a huge fan. My problem is its NOT helping wow, it runs off the player base, and creates dead seasons. Ruins the game for us all.
I am a whale when it comes to the right things. Bass Boat and the rig to pull it aint cheap lol.
Technically I think allot of wow players are whales and dont know it, how many people build their own 2-3k gaming PC just to mostly play wow lol. When a console gaming machine cost what? Hell Divers2 many turn off cross play, they did not want to play w the console players lol.
