What rating are you? I’m at 1847(which I dont deserve) with an MMR that must be way too high as I keep facing Glads and close to it players that average 500cr above my teams average CR. We do objectives, or would if we weren’t CC locked and dead by Glad rogues the whole match. I don’t see my team doing less than they should, they dont give up, they group up and initiative combat where they should be at objectives, but get murdered so fast. It is embarrassing. After 6 or so straight loses I pray my MMR has been reduced because these blow out games I cant move while alive are no fun.
I would love to be able to climb rating in bg blitz but it’s hard when your entire team gets rolled. Not just rolled, I’m talking STEAM rolled to the point where you are sitting at the GY and everyone is a ghost. Just have to hope when I que I get the team that has 8 glads that know how to play as a team.
I find why the coin flip was not in your favor is visable on the score screen. If your teams average CR is 400+ lower than the enemy teams average CR, you’re going to have a bad time. No matter how hard I try to play my best and cordinate with good communication with my team…I’m not a Gladiator quality player, so fighting Vs a team of mostly Glads or close to it enemies ends up being a loss. When I was 1700 and below CR, games were fun, challenging at times but fun. After getting 1847, all I fight are the top 3% of players and wins dont happen. Hopefully my MMR tanks and I can fight my peers again.
I keep seeing you make posts like this and it is actually starting to annoy me. Give yourself some credit. You clearly did something to get your mmr up, it isn’t just handed out. If it was we wouldn’t have all of these posts about people being hard stuck in the sewer. Sure, maybe the players in those lobbies have more experience than you, but if you’re there you can play at that level. Playing against significantly harder opponents is a great opportunity for learning. Do it enough and it won’t feel as challenging over time. Everyone has to start somewhere, you got this.
Blitz should have a “strat stage” before the round goes live. Or a “shotcaller” role that goes to the highest MMR player to sign up for it, similar to a dungeon lead.
Strat stage could be extremely simple, where you can make very visible attack points / orders to send individual players to.
These lemmings treating it like random BGs drive me nuts.
