Blitz and MMR swings

Has anyone experienced really wide MMR swings just from one match to the other?

For instance I just did one at 1983, which I won, then next match was…1782??

I realize the Blitz MMR doesn’t mean much right now but it just seems odd to get a 200 point variance from one match to the next for no apparent reason. Maybe the brackets, if any, are quite large?

Edit: Oh and now the match I’m in right now is 2033…lol.

I believe the issue might be that every game is a new team.

In the 1983 game, you had more 2100 players than 1900 players.

In the 1782 game, you had more 1700 players than 2000 players.

But personal MMR is hidden. So you can’t see any of this.

You see it a lot in LFG RBGs. Where, after a loss, everyone disbands and you create/join a new team.
