So, with Blind - I’m not sure if I’m misremembering Vanilla - BUT - cleanse/poison totem/shammy single target poison doesn’t dispell blind.
I know for sure it was dispellable at least through TBC/Wrath/Cata since I arena’d heavily. But was it in Vanilla?
Edit: Just tested with a druid and their Abolish poison DOES dispell it. So, why don’t other posion cleanse spells?
Those spells do dispel blind. Blind just prevents you being able to cast them on yourself.
Abolish Disease is an exception because you cast it on yourself before the blind, and it will tick to remove it.
Stoneform and Divine Shield are exceptions, because Immunities can be used even while afflicted by what they make you immune to.
Currently they do not dispell blind on other players. At least not on my holy paladin - and I’m talking about other players of course not myself, ha.
So for further clarification say someone I’m next to in BG gets blinded. I am unable to dispell it. They just eat the blind. I can dispell other poison/disease/magic with no issues.
I can pre-emptively cast cast abolish poison on myself and remove blind, or cast it on an ally and remove blind. Its considered a poison and anything that removes poison will remove it.
Currently the spell cleanse does NOT remove blind. It removes everything else. Just tested it again. It was the only debuff on the target. Could not dispelll it.
Um the paladin’s cleanse does in fact remove blind, it probably doesn’t batch remove it if that’s what you meant.
