Blight Boar Concert DMF (Perfect Performance/Taking this show on the Road)

The Blight Boar concert in the Darkmoon Faire is bugged and has been for so long!!! The Banshee Walls do not appear properly and it makes them impossible to dodge all of them, you can get away with 1 or 2. There is 2 achievs gated behind dodging the banshee walls which isnt doable whilst the banshee walls are appearing/disappearing every second. There has been multiple forum bug reports about this from quite some time ago and no attempt to fix it. The DMF is once a week every month, so its a limited time event, so we not only are waiting for an event that is very limited in time but its also not working properly and not doable. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

  • You don’t know that there has been no attempt to fix it, and stating such without knowledge to back it up unnecessarily paints Blizzard in a bad light.
  • Attempts may have been made many times to fix the problem, without success.
  • Bugs are fixed in order of player impact. It may seem to you that “everyone else” is up in arms about this bug, but it’s literally just a bug in an achievement for an event that is temporary. Any login issues will be higher priority, disconnect issues will be higher priority, bugs in main story quests that would stall people’s progression will be higher priority, etc.
  • I wouldn’t hold my breath for a hotfix on this issue right now. Might it happen? Sure! It’s far more likely that this will get fixed in a numbered patch, though, or in a hotfix before the next DMF appears.
  • Between now and then, more posts will be made about the banshees in the DMF; that doesn’t mean Blizzard is indifferent, uncaring, or oblivious to what is going on. They know a problem exists, and they’ll fix it when it’s appropriate to do so.

Jeez mate you’re a bit worked up? I’m allowed to voice my opinion just like anyone else is entitled to as we are all paying customers. You say I don’t know that there has been no attempt to fix the bug, yet you contradict yourself because you also don’t know if they have attempted to have it fixed, or been made aware of it.

I spoke with a GM yesterday and in actual fact the response I received suggests they have no idea about it and to their knowledge the event is working fine with no sighted bugs reported.

The game is literally dead ATM, its not peak season where id understand they’d have an influx of bug reports and higher priority things to deal with like you mention.

I’m still seeing the bug at the Blight Born event. Cannot see the Banshee Walls.

They seem to go from seen to unseen to not seen at all. Also I see a lot of mobs are not attackable and they get to the singer.

Not sure if this is being looked at but the event and its achievements are 100% not doable at this time.

Just did this event and had a similar experience. I can see the banshee walls initially but right before the walls meet they disappear. Didn’t happen every time, but 90% of the spawns did this.

I’ve been trying to complete the ‘Taking this show on the road’ achievement for so long now, but it is just not possible at the moment. The banshee walls are impossible to see and to dodge :frowning:

A new month and this is still bugged. Cant complete the taking this show on the road achievement :frowning: can we pleeeeaaaasssseeee get this fixed?

Bump. Been having this issue for quite a while myself and confirmed it is still an issue last night. It would be nice to see a fix so I can get these remaining achievements out of here.

Bump again!
This month i cant even see the banshee’s until after they have hit me.
Can we please get a response to this. Super frustrating since it is reported every month :frowning:

Bug is still occurring as of 12/09/2022.

There are multiple bug reports on this topic. This bug has been going on for over a year, maybe 2. I understand maintaining an MMO is work and things take time but this should have been fixed a long time ago.

Blizzard, please fix this bug. I just spent over $90 on the latest expansion bundle and can’t complete this limited time achievement because of this ongoing bug that has yet to be fixed.

You want us to commit to 6 months/1 year of subscription time but can’t fix bugs that have multiple reports with in a year’s time?
