I would like the idea of these two spells back in Shadowlands, but short term buffs that can only be cast on other players as utility.
Kings is pointless given how we have Devotion Aura (plus I found that it was always overpowered when soloing). Even the name is somewhat vague and doesn’t really point to anything specific.
Might could increase melee damage by 20% for 10-20 seconds, and Wisdom could increase mana regeneration or perhaps spell damage by 20% for 10-20 seconds. They could both share a 5 minute cooldown.
As for arguing over who gets the buff? Well wouldn’t any decent raid leader make that decision? It’s not as if corruption, or pettty squabbling in helping out friends isn’t an issue for everything in the game as it is.
It does seem odd that the great unpruning has removed two spells. Buffs are quite a big part of Paladins.
I don’t see why we can’t go back to having Greater Blessings.

King me!
I would love to see blessings come back, but something tells me the devs have no interest in blessings in the traditional sense.
Context.
It makes no sense to have a greater blessing of something when there’s no non-greater version. It’s a bit silly specifically in BfA that we have Greater Blessing of Kings with no Blessing of Kings.
What’s it greater than?
I do think shorter duration but stronger effects are more interesting, like all the other blessings such as Freedom, Protection, Sacrifice.

Regular blessing were single target, Greater Blessings used to target everyone of that class and then made it raid wide.
Hence why we never got a Greater Blessing of Salvation, Freedom, ect.
Key word here is ‘were’.
They were called ‘Greater’ because the normal versions existed at the time. Might lasted 5 minutes and only on one target, as you know.
I mean was it too much work to delete the first two words from the tooltip?
With the return of auras, what if the different blessings were tied to the auras. So Blessing of might, wisdom, and kings each gave a different bonus, or had their effect changed slightly.
I mean sanctuary I could see when used might redirect some portion of the damage being taken by those under the effect of devo aura back to the blessed target as an example.
I honestly don’t get your point here.
Currently in BfA there is only Greater Blessing of Wisdom. That implies it is greater than another version of Blessing of Wisdom, which hasn’t existed for years.
It is a language error.
It’s like calling Orcs ‘Taller Orcs’. It would leave people bemused, because there isn’t an Orc which is anything else.
Nah, I already have too many buttons as it is. I don’t want two more cooldowns.
I like the idea of having auras, seals, judgments, and blessings that are thematically aligned however at the moment I am not sure how that would work with the Paladin as a class or with any of the specs without a major overhaul.
Given that, in my opinion anyway, the class as a whole and the specs are in a good spot --> I’d rather they not overhaul the system. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Well we have holy power system that could be tied to the seal system, giving each spec a select number of seals, with which seal effect you get tied to how much holy power you spent to raise the seal. Though how I see it is that just raising the seal would only modify your stats like dealing holy damage or regen mana/hp on attack, but than i would bring back the idea of what judgement used to do activating a secondary effect of the seals that could also alter how mechanically some of our abilities work.
With having consecrate as an ability back now we could have some interesting interactions. Like you judgement righteousness it might detonate your active consecrate field, or for wisdom/light might make it into a healing or mana regen field. Dont think that needs much of a overhaul to be implimented.
I hope BoM, BoW and BoK will come back. Big part of playing a paladin for me has been choosing the best buffs for the different classes.
High enough level to benefit from BoK? No? Mana user? BoW. Melee class? BoM. It was nice to throw a random blessing in the world. It also nice to coordinate buffs in a raid or group and feel like you’re contributing.

I wish we could go back to the full spectrum of buffs, Kings, Might, Wisdom, Sanctuary, Light, Salvation. A shame we’re just left with Int, AP, and Stam. Remember when we were the buff class?

The sad thing is: paladin spells could have so much synergy when in reality they have none. While I hope they bring in something like your suggestions I’m afraid the devs are either too lazy or afraid of such synergy.
Shut up, there is no way as a DPS that I want to have a CD I can use on others that doesn’t benefit me at all, that is actually stupid. If you want to be some worthless buff bot go back to Vanilla.

This is not a single-player game Tony.
Do you know what co-operation is? Utility? You are what’s wrong with this game.
Dunno who Tony is but if you’re replying to me I’m laughing. We have enough Utility without having some stupid buff that only works on others. I’d rather be brought to a dungeon for my DPS than what I can provide to others, definitely don’t want to end up in some stupid situation where it’s, “Let’s bring the Ret Paladin cause he can buff our real DPS.” If you want to be a support so bad go Holy, don’t ruin our one DPS spec by trying to turn it into some Vanilla version trash heap.

If sacrificing GBoK/GBoW means we gain an aura tool kit that ALL specs can use, I’m gonna say worth.

I don’t think it is so much the devs being lazy or afraid, so much as selfish of the role in question. so long as the group an playerbase puts more interest an value on themselves support options become less desirable. Unless such a idea were made in a form of a talent that allowed you to become a buffing class via it, there will be always a vocal group that will press back against the idea.
